So i got an empty fish tank downstairs that is in no use so i thought i would have it in my room.

The tank itself is 2ft in length.

My desk is just over 6ft.

I have 2 screens, an amp and my PC tower on my desk.

Would it be safe to have such a large tank with all my electrical stuff?

Ta ;)

tanks do burst but a 2ft is unlikely to. As long as there's nothing electrical underneath it'll be ok.

Oh and LOL at large tank, that's small!

Yeah.

It was used before for ages and never leaked.

I think im guna buy a smaller tank though because i don't have much room  :(

You could use it to house something that doesn't require water. It would be an ideal size for a tarantula.

Giant Snails, Giant Millipedes? Depending on height you could divide it in 2 and have 2 Praying mantids or stand it on end and house 1 large species.

had mine there for a year or so now and had no problems, occasionaly theres a bit of spash on my desk.

my tower is directly below it.

Just dotn put the fish tank IN your pc. You'll really upset people and everyone on here will suddenly become animal rights activists ;)
