We have already paid money for his services. Signing him full time I dont think will cost as much as people think.

There is talk aabout getting him on a bosman.

Its all down to his agent now though. I reckon hes going to act like a **** and mess Man Utd around.

Apart from the goal, no.

He just doesn't seem to be the rock he was 6 months ago, too many mistakes and very little physical dominance.

He expected more protection from the ref in the first half, didnt get it, second half gave it him back and i dont think he was second best in any challenge after that?
 
I think Wigan targetted him knowing he'd be doing the work of two central defenders with no Rio.

Joorabchian has confirmed theres been talks, but no offers been made yet.
 
Personally thought Tevez played like a headless chicken during the middle of the season when he got time on the pitch - and thats one reason why talks have taken so long to start

2ndly Berbatov has just been paid for, Utd cant afford to blow another £30m on a striker (allowing for the £6m - £10m already paid) who doesnt always put in the effort every single time. Another £15m and Tevez would be a steal, but anything more than that and it would be worth letting him go and gambling on a youngster (as in one of the many early to mid twenty year olds that we have been linked with every week or so)

When Tevez turns it on, he plays excellently and there is no doubt - he just doesnt do it often enough for me. Considering Kia (who is an untrustworthy /slimy so and so) is asking around the cost of Torres two seasons ago in ADDITION to what has already been paid (and just to be clear imo Torres tries every single minute of every match) - Kia would be robbing Utd blind

Carrick was immense - so glad I have his shirt ;)

I hate teams raising their game but they did it, lost to WBA bottom of the league 3-1 yet nearly held out to the champions of the World, Europe and England, awesome match and they ran their knackers off but they get paid to do that dont they?

But its just a shame they only play like that for the big games, if they played like that every week Europa would be calling,

Mido can still do one, no time for that guy.

Great game and a team like Man United have the skill and the passion to win games, Liverpool only managed a draw at the JJB :D

Vidic wants to go back to the Balkans and get a cap in his ass, what a pathetic show of sportsmanship.

Vidic wasn't great, but he never is without Ferdinand. Evans is too lightweight.

On the match, we deserved the win even though we were awful and wasted too many chances. I can only remember VDS having to make 2 saves (1 being the goal). Yet another game Tevez changes. He might not always score, but he'll general be involved in the goals and the goals he does score always seem to be important. Was amazed Carrick got MotM, he was very poor in the first half, for me O'Shea or Berbatov should have got it, they were both excellent.
 
Happy with tonight's result albeit the performance was iffy to say the best. We can't use the weather as an excuse as Pie FC managed to knock the ball around quite well.

Missed both the goals as I was on the way to Hospital but just seen them now. great back heel from Carlito and wonderful goal from Carrick.

Can't wait for weekend. I'm hoping for a 98th minute winner on Saturday against The Arse. I want it as spawny as hell. 4 deflections (Lampard Style) I'm also hoping it's going to be from a player who should have been sent off within the 1st 10 minutes of the game. Let's see the fat Spanish waiter come out with his fachts then.

I think if we do make it 18 this year then it will be one of the sweetest ever.
 
Once again, just as I had with the spurs match, I thought maybe there was going to be a surprise result last night. Thought perhaps utd might drop some points and open the door to the title a bit more. Sadly they didnt.

I would say now that Utd will wrap up the title against Arsenal on Saturday, even if they dont I really cannot see them losing to both Arsenal and Hull.

On the plus side, we worried Utd this year. Without a doubt you only have to look at some of the utd players reactions to goals this year, and read some of the comments this year to tell that Utd were worried about Liverpool this season.

As far as I am concerned thats a decent compliment to us, in recent years Utd really havent been threatened or worried about Liverpool chasing. This year has been different, we've run utd close, closer than before in the premier league and Utd know it. Its not the title but at least I can take some satisfaction in knowing that we've rattled cages in the Old Trafford comfort zone this season.

Is the difference that one rightly got their player of the year award and the other got theirs purely on emotional sympathy rather than seasonal performance? :D
 
On a related issue, the 2 players also share a Spot the Similarity. Both players have stayed loyal to their teams instead of jumping ship to other teams.
 
I am building a real hatred for Anderson. Everyone seems to kiss his ass but he's ****.

It's hardly an achievement to 'stay loyal' to a club who pays you that much with the fans that love you when you're getting games when fit and winning trophies pretty much every season..
