I'm just amazed that the MPs are shifting the blame on to the Speaker. Sure, he's meant to be "looking after" them, but it's not his fault that they've been claiming fraudulently.
You understand the concept of a scapegoat, right?

Ok, but just because someone thinks that what happens doesn't mean that things are done that way.Like it or not, the head of a party is, to many people, the person they are "voting in" when they are actually voting for their area representative.

It is pretty shocking that you don't know (I'm assuming your older than 16), but I know you are one in many.So how exactly does a party get voted in, if everyone is just voting for their area representative?
sorry, I haven't a clue about this.![]()
Apart from a number of insults, you haven't given any reason why he is worse than Labour or a joke..David Cameron is such a joke. I mean as terrible as Labour are, his lot are even worse
Magnified by the fact that he himself is a total idiot. He seems to think the fact he is quite young for a party leader makes him "down with the kids" and up to date with everything

You vote for your local MP. If that MP wins, he wins a seat in Parliament. The party with the most seats forms the Government.

Agree, RTMd for a mod to move itWell Speakers Corner is more appropriate for such a post, but I think the last part of my post was one reason, although a small one, regarding the party as a whole.
It is one that particularly grates me about him however
Or are you suggesting that like the US we should have a maximum of 2 terms that any PM can be leader for?
As for the petition, it will change nothing and I'm less than convinced Mr Cameron will rule the country any better than Mr Brown has.

One things for sure, Cameron certainly could NOT be any worse than Brown.
The moment the tories have to face an Europe, Euro or anti terror law based policy they will crumble like a packed of biscuits run over by a lorry.
At least their MPs stand up for what they believe rather than towing party line 24/7
Problem is, Cameron is only calling for a general election because he's so far ahead in the polls. If things were closer then I doubt he'd be so cocksure.
I'm old enough to remember the poll tax riots, I would say that the level of public anger with the government now is about the same as it was back then - yet why no protests? Have I misjudged the public mood or has the general public just become totally apathetic?
