I picked up Hanaukyo Maid Team La Verite cheap a few years back. It's a nice little series which is a good relaxing watch.

Caught up with K-ON! at the weekend, which I am finding very good and FMA. Currently just watch a bit of this and that whilst waiting for the slow shipping from TRSI ....
 
Gona have a dodge down to the 2nd hand shops on weekend, see if i can pick up a bunch of anime on the cheap. Even tho i got loads of anime to watch still i just cant stop gathering anime. :D

Yep, I picked up the second half of Bleach season 2 at around half price the other week from a high street nation chain shop where you can exchange goods for money or credit.
 
Apologies in advance if this has been mentioned before but I did a search and couldn't find anything. I am working my way through the Gantz series (up to episode 22) and am really enjoying it, it does have some flaws but they are far outweighed by the series in general.

What I am trying to find out is the name of the song/music that plays during most of the epic scenes, I don't want to give spoilers just incase people haven't got round to watching it yet but the music plays during the epic scene near the end of episode 20 (disc 5) and also near the end of episode 21 (disc 6).

I have done searches on imdb, anime planet and yahoo search and am not getting anything back about the music side of the series, anyone know what the music is?

hmmm ... quite often you can get that type of info off of the wikipedia page for the series but there's nothing listed for this series. Not getting any sound track CD's listed on TRSI or UP and noe on Rainforest Japan ... there's one or two other places I could look but not from work ;)

Thanks for that, it may be, its a shame that the ost isn't sold on any of the usual sites as sometimes they have a 10 second preview for the different songs on an album.

I have a feeling though that the piece of music I am thinking of may be by someone different as it is nothing like a couple of the songs from that ost by the artist you listed.

The track I am thinking of is just a piece of music with no vocals and is very slow and haunting. It sounds like its being played on some sort of electric organ with a slow deep bass sound in the background.
 
Started watching Negima!? last night (the "second" series) ... seems to be ok so far although I haven't really watched enough of it yet to make that much of an opinion. (I may have sneaked in a rewatch of Maria-sama season 1 before it too).

AnimeBoston is on this weekend so I wonder if there will be any R1 license announcements there.

Had a surprise package the other day though; seems I won the other half of series 5 of Naruto. That means I've one the whole series off the same site ;)

I only read the Naruto and Bleach manags these days, used to watch the animes but got a bit bored of the pointless additions and inconsistan animation, that and 90% of the fillers suck a fat one.

Been watching a lot of Bleach recently, up to episode 210 now. Really enjoying it and I think I'll probably end up getting the manga over the anime as I'm not keen on the anime's filler stories (completely skipped over the last one), the DVD's are way behind and the english voice acting for Rukia does my head in...

Need to get around to buying the rest of Beck at some point, still only have vol. 1...

I can't say that Bleach or Naruto are really my thing at all, (I've seen season 1 of each) ... but they are nice for the odd change.

I would point out that if anyone is buying the UK release of Naruto and is a bit behind then currently it appears that Rainforest UK has Complete Series 3 for ~£10 less than the second half of series 3 on its own.
 
Thanks for all the help in tracking down this piece of music in Gantz.

Checking through some clips on youtube makes me believe that it would more than likely be track number 1 off that fan made ost as it is the song that is playing during that scene.

Unfortunately though, I have a feeling that it was probably something that the sound team put together and not actually something that was ever released as a proper song.

Looks like I will just have to watch the dvd when I want to hear the tune. :p

Does Hyper Police have a spinoff? Im nearly done watching it and would love to see more of it. I really would love to hear more of natsuki or whatever she is called im just falling in love with her voice. Is there other anime with this actress voice in it i can grab?

As long as it continues to have the dry humour of the Kyon voice overs ... hopefully this'll get licensed eventually ...

No idea as I've never seen it whether it has a spin off .... but drop the series name into Wikipedia brings up a page for it. On there is gives the name of the voice actress for Natsuki and that links to her page which lists what other parts she has done.
