Picked up the new car :)

How about jamex coilovers for the mondeo? (around £250 iirc) or some lowering caps for the front if they exist

I'm currently looking for a company (Jamex/Gmax etc) that offer shortened dampers for the front shocks, i can then get lower front springs. Anything lower that 40mm really does require uprated and shortened shock absorbers to prevent premature failure of the shock and the spring potentially moving out of place.

Would love it like this :)

Looking good Phil! I wasn't sure on the SuperT's after looking at the first shot but they look superb from the rear with the lower ride height.

Need to sort that front height out tbh mate :)

edit... Fox, haha :D If he keeps the current rear springs and changes the fronts for 60mm springs, it should look pretty even all round.

That looks ridiculous. It's like you are giving a lift to two really fat birds.

I did adjust the angle of the car to try and level out the front and rear, but didn't quite adjust it as much as i should have.

Nice to see the old Fox back though :)

Looking good :)

I think its a 'problem' with spax spings, I have noticed a few ST24's lowered on these make the front look really high.

This is how mine looks on a weitec kit, the front still looks higher however doesnt stand out as much as the spax springs:

Front will be lowered a bit more once i can find some suitable shorter shocks :)

Picked up the exhaust last night, it needs a flange putting on to join it to the cat pipe at the front of the car instead of bodging it on with an exhaust clamp, so its booked in next week to be fitted properly :)

I was quite shocked to see the bore size of the standard exhaust system, it must be 2.5" at least!

the standard exhaust is 2" with the st200 being 2.25":)

Miss my old ST24, after going through a few BMWs since then I wish I had kept it longer.

Ok, after having a nightmare with the first exhaust system, i've picked up another one today.

The first one was a custom made job, i took it to the exhaust fitters and they held it up against the car, and a section of the exhaust just wasn't going to fit at all and needed either bodging, or a new section of pipe making up. Either way it was going to work out costly, so i put it back on ebay and sold it for £10 more than i bought it for.

Fast forward to last night, and there was an ST24 being broken on eBay, the exhaust system on it was for sale, a 6 month old Blue Flame cat-back system.

I thought i'd be cheeky and texted offering £100 for it collected ASAP, and got a text back saying i could have it if i collected today!

I'm now back home after a 120 mile round trip, waiting for the call from the exhaust fitters to get myself down there to have it fitted :D

Really, really pleased with the price i paid for it :)
