Planet Merseyside, where the majority of those of working age actually in work are employed by the government forming part of the bureaucratic monolith that is nu labour.

Well, actually, I work for a private company... in Cheshire. Although yes, a large percentage of people around these parts are employed by the government in one form or another.

You'll always get some die-hard Labour supporters who swear blind that Labour and that one eyed Scottish idiot are the best thing to happen to the UK. In reality, they were the best at destroying this once great country.

Funny really, heard some Labour supporters talking about "Maggie" in high esteem, and how Labour are not what they use to be.

& yet it was her government that lead to the Tories downfall & being lost in the wilderness for all these years, I can't imagine why

????

John Major was in power when the tories lost power, and it was nothing to do with what Thatcher had done.

I suggest you read some political history, rather than spouting out garbage you have heard of your mates down the pub before you step into the polling booths next year.

look at the BNP getting popular.. If they ever come in power ill be ashamed to be British

People of the future will look back and will find it hard to contemplate ideologies such as nationalism. To me, nationalism is, was, and shall be one of the most dangerous ideologies within the world today - it is just another construct put up to divide man.

People seriously need to realise that we are all the same. When we're born, we're all a blank canvas and it is what happens from thence which shapes us - if people are 'bad' then that's merely a reflection of humanity not learning from its mistakes.

We all have wants, we all have desires and we are all fundementally, and genetically at a base level about as idenitical as you can get, yet due to being a 'social' ape (irony not missed) we have a history of causing untold divisions and habit of ****ing on eachother.

It's time to rise above it. See through life and all its pomp and actually fix what's wrong in this world. We're never going to see a utopia; our flaws are what stops it - but we can sure as hell try to get as close as we can.

If you vote for the BNP then I automatically make some assumptions about yourself:

1. You're an idiot - you don't think things through. You rely on knee-jerk emotional responses.

2. You're an 'uneducated' fool - again, you have, somewhere chosen to - or simply not had the information available - become closed-minded. Your 'experience' some where has fundementally become detrimental to your cognitive processes - much like a religious fundementalist. Whether you like it or not, you're very close to being in the same boat.

3. You're just plain selfish or lack any empathy. You shouldn't be a part of community - you're just as much the problem as those 'darkies' you hate.

Sure, I look around and see people of different skin colour taking the **** with our country but my response isn't "Kick them out!". I step back and wonder why they behave the way they do in the first place and how we can go about correcting those issues instead. Stop running from your damn problems, man up and do something about them. The BNP is the losers way out.

Never forget just how stupid the average person is. People today choose not to think and they're dangerous for it. Give them 50 Cent on MTV and they're happy. Well, don't be one of them - cut down your prejudices and start to think for your damn self!

The BNP proposes to reintroduce corporal punishment, and to make capital punishment available for paedophiles, terrorists and murderers. In addition to increasing military defence spending, the BNP plans to reintroduce compulsory national service. It proposes "to end the conflict in Ireland by welcoming Eire as well as Ulster as equal partners in a federation of the nations of the British Isles".

Central to the BNP's domestic policies are greater share ownership and the establishment of worker co-operatives. The party advocates the provision of extra resources for "especially gifted children" and the reversal of closures of special needs schools. It has proposed that repossessed homes should become council houses, to prevent these being sold off cheaply to undercut private sellers, and to provide housing for those who need it.

I think the majority of people would agree with most of the above.

95% of people support 95% of the BNP's policies when they aren't aware that they are BNP's policies.

Absolutely not!

National service - no!
Corporal punishment - no!
Military spending - debatable - at the moment, yes but on the whole - no.

Conflict in Ireland? Bit of a non-issue that.

Some interesting ideas for social reform but the fact still remains - you cannot polish a turd.

The sooner a public health insurance scheme is introduced, and all of the hospitals are privatised (like the hospitals run by Local Care Direct), the better. Costs less, things run more efficiently, benefit from competition, you get rid of wasteful civil servants.

Wrong.

The PFI scheme (introduced by the Tories and eagerly embraced by New Labour) has resulted in massive inefficiency, bloated over-management and skyrocketing costs. Read NHS PLC.

That's because PFI provides the worst combination of private investment with zero competion, privatisation of profit and socialisation of costs. It's an awful idea.

That does not mean, however, that all market healtcare ideas are flawed. PFI is flawed precisely because it doesn't operate in a market enviroment.

This video=Conservatives:

Says it all.

Did you here him
" its not my fault I claimed £87,000 it was labours fault "

here is another one
Sir Peter Viggers, MP for Gosport, has already said he would stand down at the next election

Among his claims were £30,000 for gardening, including £500 for manure, and £1,645 on a floating duck island.

What a numnuts

Tories - Gotta love em.

I want a government, not some bunch of loons acting like some hormonal school kids laughing at the back of the class. Look at the clown behind Cameron at 00:38.

Personally I think they should be treated like the Criminals they are, If I was found guilty of Fraud I'd be sent down.
I want a change but not a small change I want a Complete change, Neither Tory or Labour will do the job & I will not stand beside Liberals.
Unless Labour & the Conservatives sack every single member guilty of Fraud I will not even consider either of them.

Pathetic isn't it - do they all think we are impressed with their childish behaviour out in the real world beyond Westminster?

We want our representatives to run the country effectively and sort out problems like grown-ups, not giggle like schoolgirls while scoring silly cheap points off one another.
