I'd hazard that his concern stems more from the white supremacist bit than the British bit...
For me it has Nowt to do with Colour or where you come from it is about Space & who got here first, Simple as that.
We have enough people on this Island now stop, Rocket sciences it's not.
To help you understand what I mean try this.
Say I know 1 thousand people.
I am having a party but my house will only hold 200 people comfortably.
I want to invite everybody of course I do but if I do it will Spoil the party for All.
There fore the first 200 get in & the others can **** off.
I mkae no distinction between who what or where just Close the doors & Stop letting more people in.
Now surely that makes sense even to the most Basic person.
My answer would be to develop a similar country to ours that has more space & help/encourage others to go there.

He's a British citizen so on that basis alone I'd say he has as much right as anyone else to give his opinion on the goings on of the UK. That doesn't imply more rights than anyone else, that means the same level of right in expressing himself - as a public figure and leader of a religious movement then he has a higher dias than the average member of the public to speak from and so his voice carries further but that's a matter of practicality rather than a right or level of importance.

Not sure what point you're making... He's a foreigner with British citizenship, which confers on him, as far as I am aware, all the same rights as a citizen by birth.

I've been to around 20 and if you did the same you'd see the party for what it is - thick & clueless.

That's freedom of expression for you. As long as no-one's actually inciting hatred or encouraging violence I'm quite happy for everyone to voice their opinion.
At least when the BNP supporters speak out you can easily work out who they are. I just wish they'd go further and actually admit that all they care about is skin colour. I mean check out this thread, most of the BNP defendants/supporters are still trying to claim it's not about skin colour, despite evidence to the contrary.

I don't think it is ok for the Church to demand anyones vote although offering advice or urging is ok - it's a rather fine semantic point but one that matters.
To remain consistent I'd have to say that it is ok for a white supremacist church leader to ask people to vote with the BNP albeit I'd think it an inutterably stupid thing to say, it being potentially a particularly divisive option given that not all Christians are white (in fact I'd be extremely surprised if they are in the majority). A religious leader has a greater duty of care than most in considering what causes they espouse because of their position in society.
I agree with malc30 - the bottom line is we are FULL, regardless of race.
If it was just about skin colour then why have I regularly complained about Eastern European white immigration?

As much as I despise the BNP this is not the case.
It is all about immigrants who shouldn't be here whether they are black, brown, purple, yellow or white however first on the boat would be Pakistani's.
Indians would be way down the list and I attended meetings where Sikh's and Hindus were in there.

Immigration is a separate issue, and one which I'd probably have lot more sympathy for if the BNP used it as its only raison d'être.
The bottom line for me is that the BNP are fundamentally racist, and place far too much value on the colour of people's skin. The BBC article that has been linked to dozens of times now in this thread demonstrates this clearly.

What if the American's took that stance during the Holocost? Should we really turn people away who have been toutured in places like Rwanda? Have you no hummanity at all?
It's time we made a clear seperation between economic migrants, and those who are truely in need of something to save themselves from persicution. The day the UK turns away people that seek shelter from horrid abuses is the day the we become not better than the countries and regiemes responsible for the horrid acts on those refugees themselves.
