Demigod by Gas Powered Games (SupCom)

Yep other tips, grab a couple of teleports from the sale shop. One to get you to the action and one to get you out. Remember to keep upgrading your citadel - first level for gold and building health really important. Also remember to grab your additonal units at the bottom. The giants ultimately are very powerful and helped win our match above

Demigods gain exp for your extra troops, so try not to buy them till your ready for endgame. Then buy them all at once, and storm the other sides citadel.

This isn't always true and will be based on:
- Did you get the early lead
- What Demigods you're up against
- Are they AOE builds
- How many other upgrades have you purchased (armour / hp etc)
- What troop levels do they have

There are games were getting an early resilience upgrade + priests can win it for you and will press an advantage if they still have a low war rank. You just have to be confident you can keep up the pressure, if they're handling themselves ok enough to be passing domination of the mid-caps for long periods of time, then yeah all you're doing is handing them a catch up card.

Wow, they really should have included a tutorial :p I didn't even know you could buy more troops, I thought they just arrived every so often and got boosted by your citadel upgrades!

Thanks for the tips chaps, I'll get the hang of this eventually...

On a side note, is there a thread for Impulse Driven friend names? Could be handy for a bit of multiplayer :)

For the newcomers

This post goes into detail on the gameplay

Regarding the game - it is 100% better, however it still has a number of issues. I ended up in a 2v1 pantheon game - as I was on the 2, the 1 player ejected and then we had to wipe out the ai 1 player.

We also had a custom game where a player had a large ping - that eventually caused all of us to be disconnected not just him. In the subsequent game all had good pings and the game did a brief hicup and we were all out on our backsides :(

Tals

Is that... Christopher Lee?

It is that guy from the TA intro. Awesome voice though :D

Also, with enough artifacts, the crossbow guy is ludicrously good.

I think it is a bit of a problem with all the demigods tbh, at end game with enough gear your auto attacks become a hell of a lot better than any of your specials... seems a bit out of whack to me. They should either put caps on stats (so you aren't sprinting about the map with doing 2-3 auto attacks per second) or just rebalance all the stats across the demigods talents / gear.

Yeah. His auto attacks were doing 500 damage a hit, hitting 4 grunts a time, 2 times a second. Plowed across the map in no time.

Edit:
It made this happen

Only against CPU i know, but that was my 4th game since i installed. Still getting to grips.

Its a lot different online, your opposition will have a clue for a start :D (well in theory).

Played my first game last night, hadn't a clue of what was going on and I was randomly upgrading stuff to see what would happen. I think it was a 4v4 match as there were seven other Demigods who I assume were all human controlled and they obviously had about as much clue as I did. In the end though we won with me heading the leaderboard queing a face much like  simply because I don't know what I did.

The game seems good though so I'll be giving it another bash tonight if anyone from here is around?

If you press tab you will see the players and their pings, if anyone other than you has 0 then they are AI. Currency level 1 is worth getting quite early as it pays for itself very quickly. Structure damage and health are worth upgrading too. Don't do priests unless you are going to use them to push forwards otherwise its just free xp to the opposition. Citadel hit points is pretty useless, if your one is getting bashed chances are you are over-run anyway.

I generally get 4 upgrades and minion priests if im a general before i start doing Citadel upgrades.

I would get the first building +hp upgrade, as it allows your towers to regen hp. I usally get the first +exp upgrade too.

After that i just upgrade items, and pritty much leave citadel upgrades upto the rest of my team lol ><. Unless something is depratly needed anyways :p

i bought this game on release and am still dreadful at it. But I like it quite a lot....

Try buying all the +speed items, and use a quick char (beast or sedna).

You will now be able to outrun any demigod and pick your fights. no one can run away, but you can run away from anyone.

I have been having a lot better success since i started trying this.

I'm having some seriously trouble with this game now, runs terribly, something like 5 fps, anyone tried this? Only thing i could think of is the cat 9.5 drivers?

Not suffered any serious problems.

However this being based on the supcom game I think it worth mentioning the following in relation to multi games

When you see yellow (on other players) it means someone is NOT connected to another player
when you see red it means you are not connected to another player (fellows in the lobby will see yellow, unless they are red (in which case they are the problem))

A rejoin often sorts this issue out!

The connection info (clicking the bottom right of the screen) does not always display the correct details.
