Desensitised to screams?

I hate it when girls scream for no good reason. It can be startling and shocking but if you go and see what it is, they are just messing about. I have never actually heard someone scream out of real terror, but it really annoys me, and I wish they would just shut up.

Classic case of bystander apathy at its worst. The details made my blood run cold.
It was all over-hyped by the media wasn't it? That is, only two or three people actually saw the attack.
Though it is indeed a sad case
I am now Desensitised to alarms. They go off all the time so i dont even bother looking, i can hear what my alarm sounds like. Heard them all the time when i was a student
Screams are different, im sure i could tell the difference between a normal domestic between a couple on the street and a rape scream

Yeah I'm becomming quite desensitised with all the drunken women screaming and being general annoyances these days...
Generally if they still have that much fight in them I will gaffa tape their mouth before the rohypnol really kicks in....
