have you the wallpaper....

What is this everyone is using showing the large, translucent clock and whether details like "16oc FAIR" etc?

If you want to fit the AM on either change the font size to something smaller (right click the rainmeter icon - choose the hud and then edit settings) or change the area from 400 to something bigger.

The other option is of course just to use the 24 hour clock, so you can remove the AM/PM completely! I'm surprised so many of the 10ft HUD users on here stick with the 12hr clock, as it's easy to switch to 24hr.

The only changes you need to make to the config file is to remove the %p, and change %I to %H in the [measuretime] section

'Change the area from 400 to something bigger' how do you do that, I don't see that in the config?

Have the name of the gadget in the corner for date/time/weather mate? Seen it on a few here and can't find it via searches :(

The weather and big time is Rainmeter and the 10-foot-hud addon.

Not sure about the translucent items though.

The application is called Rainmeter and the time/date & weather are part of the 10-Foot HUD skin

Here you go: http://lifehacker.com/5084412/configure-your-own-rainmeter-10+foot-hud

quoted twice already on the page

Yeah thanks, I worked that out literally 2 minutes after I posted! Couldn't be bothered to reupload a new image! :p

One thing that annoys me about Rainmeter is that if you set up the icons and then say they are not draggable, not clicable, etc. once you drop to a lower resolution it moves them. Frustrates the hell out of me!

Just having my first play around with Objectdock and Rainmeter:

which weather add on is that? I'm looking for a better one than the 10ft hud weather. a uk one would be ideal cos I cant get accurate weather reading. think its set to edinburgh but I'm further north.

Looking good, got a link to the wp?

Unfortunately it uses the same info as the 10ft Hud (weather.com) so won't be anymore accurate I'm afraid.
