Entirely agree.

We see Ronaldo week in and week out.
The majority of us will see Messi in the CL only, or the occasional Barca game.

How some people can favour one over the other without seeing one of them play regularly is beyond me.

Then people go and try and dig up stats to say ones better... meh.

I watch Messi nearly every week and I've always rated him higher than Ronaldo

I still don't see what Anderson brings to the Man U side, yes I only see him in about 15 games a season but I never see him have a good game tbh.

Try find a way to re-watch the Man Utd vs Arsenal games this season, he performed very well in all of them.

Meh, I'm an Arsenal fan and Denilson/Song/Diaby are just not great, Anderson played well but he didn't come up against any good players and Arsenal as a whole were poor. Anderson didn't play especially well against a weak, poor Arsenal team, just pretty good. Even still, when he did get the ball vs Arsenal, his limitations were obvious

Anderson is still pretty raw, he had a great season last year and I think an awful lot of people expected similar again.

His passing and control at times, and his ability to play that killer ball is simply sublime... but again it's only at times.

The big things about Anderson that stick in my mind, are really things he did last year unfortunately.

My major concern with him is that he's not scoring enough, or even at all.

I still rate him though, just think he needs time.

I do think we need to start cutting Giggs and Scholes out. Sometimes their experience is useful but more often than not it isn't. I really think we need another midfielder who is more of a finished product, I have no doubt Anderson will be great but he isn't consistent enough. It all depends on if we can ever rely on Hargreaves being fit again.

Owen who?

Yessssss!!!! Ecstatic!

Vidic - got done over again against a good striker, also dirty as usual taking out messi at the end

Rooney - most overrated player i have seen in a long time...Englands best? if he is he, he is no way good enough, and england havent got a hope in hell. Typical english hyping him up as usual. Doesnt score enough goals for me, doesnt do enough in general for me.

Ronaldo - marvellous player, only one who can hold his head up today. Went missing for the second half but so did the whole team.

Iniesta - underrated!! Probably player of the season! he makes the team tick, deserves more credit.

You could see he was easily the most nervy player on the pitch just from the lineups at the start.

Hope that doesn't do him too bad... christ knows what SAF would have said to him at half time :o

Rooney is Man U's best player.

:/

The better team won and I admire Sir Alex for admitting it.

I enjoyed the game as an impartial viewer. Some of Barca's passing was beyond sublime and some of Man U's players appeared not to turn up. Ronaldo was close to becoming devestating in the first 9 minutes and then became a bit-part player. Iniesta and Xavi then ran the show for the rest of the game. They also showed Scholes how a midfielder should play. Neither of them were subbed on and caused an almost immediate injury.

Still, some great, great football. I'd hope that even the most died in the wool Man U fan would say they lost to the better, more attacking, more attractive, more controlling team.

Best team won tonight hands down altho we should have had some sort of response after going 1-0 after 10mins.

None of UTD's team raised their game and dragged us back into it and we deserved to get beat. Barca we're pretty much faultless and I thought Iniesta ran the show in midfield - he was superb and my man of the match second to only Messi.

Gratz Barca you were the better team.

despite ronaldo being a bit of girl at times... i was enjoying him put the boot (or arm) into puyol lol

3-4 times was it?

Congrats to Barcelona, they were the better team, they had that slice of luck along the way against Chelsea as every team needs to reach the final. Fergie will get the cheque book out and buy a new midfield player or two.

Michael Owen? I think he'll be playing in the blue half of Manchester soon, not sure whether he's past his best, or needs a change to bolster his career and no doubt bank balance :D

We were totally outplayed, so well done to Barca. I have to say watching their players rolling around on the floor for 90% of the game somewhat took the shine off their victory but they played some great football.
