Guitar Hero: Metallica - Full Setlist announced!

I'm liking the sound of it already :D

What difficulty have you got it one Vicious ?

Is it like most GH games so starts of easy as pie. Then SLAPS you hard in the face suddenly
 
isnt it amazing how much better you can play GH/RB when you are drunk !

or is that just me...... :p

I remember when the AC/DC track pack came out for RB. Invited some mates round to have a laugh. I swear the more we drank the better we got ! :p
 
Tempted to get the Death Magnetic DLC tbh, but dont get paid until next week :X

This game rocks though, Metallica are the best band, EVER.

hard.

im sure that il get to a point where il get really stuck. Happened in gh3 quite late on in the tiers. Only on the 3rd one so far on metallica.

Me three :D I will be up for some multiplayer later but I am still on Medium on Guitar and Easy on drums. I can do hard/expert on easier tracks but on Metallica songs no way, I even failed on Medium at first as I am used to Rockband 2 which seems to have a different calibration to GH so had to get used to GH again.
 
Loving it, well worth the money and fantastic to play.

Currently at a friend's house, been playing it since 10am and decided to take a break! :p

Well worth it if you're a GH fan.
 
OK i take back what i said about it being easier than gh3. Just finished master of puppets on hard and im really knackered lol. Had to go into a spasm near the end just to finsih. My arms / hands hurt now :(
 
haha yeah, didnt manage to get a copy but been at a mates all day playing with him on drums.
Its as expected really.. Metallica, the DM DLC is probably a lot easier then some of the setlist tbh :O
 
Okay, so I'm a bit slow on the uptake here, but I've been wanting to play guitar hero for a while, and with the release of this, I think it's time to take the plunge. So...uhhh...I'll be needing one of those 'game console' things, right?! I'm assuming this thing won't work too well on the PS1 ;)

Simple question, then, what's the best console to invest in to play this? Quite honestly I probably won't be playing any other games, so I suppose the cheapest of the three makes sense (guess I should look into this!) Any other considerations I should be thinking about? Is the guitar hardware the same for all 3 platforms?
 
Yeh, 360 unless you want to play it online and need a wireless dongle and a live account.

The extras are superb on this, ive just sat watching about half an hour of stuff ive unlocked, extremely good.
 
Had a quick go of my brother's copy yesterday. He brought it round and I hooked up my (real drum) double pedal and kick pad. I managed to get the Expert+ achievement on Creeping Death, but I really suck at double bass. I'm really bad at it. Hopefully, this game will change that.

If you're not going to play anything else i'd just get a second hand PS2. It's not like GH takes advantage of graphical power! :p
 
I was eagerly awaiting my pre-ordered copy today complete with free death magnetic download code, only to find in my Inbox an email saying my payment had been declined, i pre-ordered months ago, and have never had any issues before in like 8 years of internet shopping :(

So now i don't have the game and have missed out on the free download too... bloomin' sucks! :(
