Sony

Wipeout Fury HD expansion pack - http://www.destructoid.com/e3-09-wipeout-fury-hd-expansion-pack-adds-some-serious-bulk-134258.phtml

"Looking for some more excitement in your Wipeout Fury HD? Well, Sony has just announced the details of its expansion pack, which will include another 8 tracks, doubling what the game has already, plus another 13 ships. That's more ships than was originally in the game.

The game will also have three new modes: Eliminator, a free-for-all melee; Zone Battle, a breakneck race to capture Zones before your opponent; and Dentonator, where you'll be dodging and blasting away mines strewn throughout the field.

That's quite a bit they've tacked on, along with online play for Zone Battle and Eliminator and new trophies for the game. Sony will be showing off more of it during E3, so I'm sure the team will talk about it more when they stop by the booth."

Microsoft are really kicking the crap outta everyone, if project natas works they we its displayed then thats the wii kicked in the nuts, spat on and feed to it's ancestors, i said i'd hate motion sensitive on the 360 (i like my controller) but the way it's been implemented is, well, excellent and looks so well integrated.

Nothing Sony or Microsoft can do to compete with the Wii right now.

Microsoft is trying so hard i give them that, bit disappointed if they not concentrating on next xbox and instead trying to extend the life of the 360 hardware and implement this motion sensitive stuff.

Why would they concentrate on the next xbox when this one still has so much to give?

I have my fingers crossed for a ghillie suit for my avatar from COD:MW2. :D

MS obviously have a very defined road map which is clearly showing.

NXE releases avatars for use with Natal wich can control avatars etc

I wouldn't be surprised if this natal (am i the only person who prenounces it like natal in antenatal?) is built into the next xbox and a fundamental part of it and they are just staggering its release.

Yes, I agree. The next Xbox won't have a physical controller. Good luck with those sniper headshots. *points finger, shoots*

Nope, they sold out long ago. A new Zelda, Mario and Pikmin 3 would be nice but it's nothing to get excited about and Nintendo seems to have given up developing decent new IP's.

Don't tell such an obvious lie, you will be sat there shaft in hand eagerly awaiting the start so you can begin fapping away.

It's too early for the 'next gen' plus it would be financial suicide to try and launch a console in (everyone's favourite expression) the current financial climate.

There is talk that we will move to 'platforms' rather than consoles and that this gen will be the last of the console iterations, with a more PC like gradual improvement.

Not played the Wii for many months now. It's a shame Nintendo dropped all their AAA first party game development :(

I've just noticed; "Zune" is the new name for Video Marketplace, won't that get confusing with the device

Nope, 'cos "Zune" is the hardware and "Zune Marketplace" is the software.

Like "Xbox" and "Xbox Live", two totally different things but start with the same word.

I guess, although http://www.xbox.com/en-GB/news-features/news/More-films-faster-with-Zune.htm just says its called Zune.
I'm only a simple minded bloke, Xbox is an Xbox, Live is Xbox Live, Zune is a portable ents device and the Video Marketplace :confused:i
It's like Apple renaming the iStore to iPod.

Honestly don't know then, just had a word with marketing and they said that the "Zune" covers the hardware device and the software inside the Zune hardware is also called "Zune".

If you buy something online, you purchase it from the "Zune Marketplace" and it plays on your "Zune" within the "Zune" environment.

No idea then!!! :p

The trouble is that tends to convert to £19.99(not in exchange rate they just change the $ for £). Even at a Tenner the ***** that I am I would buy the disc second hand a play it to sell if I didn't want to keep it.

Well if they are charging 1200 points (£10.20) for an Xbox 1 game on the Games Marketplace, you can bet your bottom dollar the 360 games will be at least double that. They should make them £17.99 to match the classic release prices at least.

You never know Kreeeee, the fanboy inside me is screaming for something new but my brain is telling me not to get hyped, looking forward to it regardless, hope they've learned from last year.

Learned from last year? Nintendo are doing nothing short of absolutely thrashing Sony and MS. As far as they're concerned they have nothing to learn.
