Sure, I think people should know, but I think you're perhaps being a bit too militant about it.
Many fats are essential for your body - "fat in any form increases body mass" is generalising, which is wrong. It may be the wrong type of fat in this case, granted, but statements like that are simply incorrect.
We've all bitten into gristle, and the reason it isn't nice is because of the texture and solidity - hence you spit it out and go "eeurrgh".
Here, you don't even notice it. It's powdered and so minute that, hell, you didn't even KNOW it was there.
If you dislike fat and bones so much, do you turn your nose up at a nice T-Bone Steak or rack of ribs? I know I don't. If you want to avoid all that jazz then just become a vegetarian, tbh.
