Judging from the perfermance of the BNP the major parties don't really have much to fear from them either...

The whole BNP thing is quite a sensitive issue that generally evokes a response one way or the other from people, more so than any of the other fringe parties.

Looking at the results i dont think they will;) which is good.

Whats bad is it looks like the majority are voting tory because they dont want labour. Thats ok is tight lab/con councils but they seem to think the same in councils that labour dont stand a chance of ever winning. There is something majorly wrong with our system of voting.

Very true - people are so fed up of the useless party in power that they vote in the Tories to make sure they get rid of New Labour, without looking at what the Conservatives would do differently. And then they wonder why they get such a crap incompetent government and don't bother voting. Something is seriously wrong with our political system.

I can't tell you whether it is definitely true, but I was told by a geography teacher a while back that if it were not for migrants, we would actually have a decreasing population. That isn't really a good thing.

There's certainly sources for the EU in general; countries like hungary desperately need migrants in order to fill needed jobs as their population decreases year on year (stage 5 of the DTM), can't find one right now for the UK though, so it might not be entirely accurate :p

I don't know why you're asking this, it's very well documented that we have a shocking number of immigrants coming over and being a colossal drain on the economy. It doesn't take an ultranationalist BNP member to see this.

On a separate note, I find it incredibly interesting that the BNP won a seat in Leicestershire - did you know that Leicester is only 61% white according to census?

I think you'll likely find that it's actually a small minority that come over here and spunge off the government. The majority come over here, work, often doing jobs we personally would not like.
 
Personally i think people should be educated on politics before they are allowed to vote. That way they can see what's happened in the past, and the different political ideals to draw a conclusion.

Most people just vote, because they want something different or they like one policy they like and totally ignore the rest of the policy's.

For example people voting BNP, they like idea of not so many immigrants but totally ignore other policies or ramifications of that policy.

They want to forcefully deport people already settled here.

God forbid the homosexuals when members of the bnp party say "AIDS Monkeys", "bum bandits", "faggots" and "sickening thought".

They all going to get shot?
Homosexuals are not exactly immigrants and they are hardworking, which the person voting for the BNP probably completely ignored or didn't know about that view within the BNP.

Only because all the British people are leaving due to all the people arriving.. there is a ridiculous amount of British people emmigrating every year.

It is quite scary the amount of people voting conservative without really having any idea what there going to bring to the table.
 
I'd really like to hear how the BNP are planning to run a 1st class national health service whilst simultaneously kicking out the majority of doctors, nurses and porters. All without raising taxes. I never knew that Paul Daniels was a member.
