Walking around Sainsburys today and noticed the special £3 offer on the small Lindt Lindor selection Chocs - so decided to go ahead and buy a box (as they are rather tasty)

Opened the first Hazelnut one in the box and.....

It's dead by the way. Although it did make the wife a bit sick after I showed it too her.

Now - as the box was completely sealed - and had a BB Date of December 2009 - I can only assume the little blighter was there from source.

What do you think the best way to complain would be ? Not a bit pleased to be honest - as I love Lindt chocs..... I just don't think I could stomach another one after this find.

Send a polite but firm complaint email to Lindt with that photo attached with details of where and when you purchased the chocolate and any batch numbers ,etc.

Thats awesome.....you have to milk it for all its worth.

Send Lindt the images first, dont just send the item back as they then hold the power :-)

LOL! That's awesome :D

But yes, send Lindt an email with the picture attached, along with all relevant details.

Where / when purchased, condition of item purchased etc.

Sorry why are you upset? You bought chocolate, you got chocolate, but you also got some meat for free too. If anything, you should send back the meat as it isn't really yours.

Jesus, I thought paul rope had just made a cohesive post for a second there

Also OP, eat around it you girl.

You need to do a serious wind up letter, asking how the master chocolatier missed the inclusion of the beast!

I wish this happened to me, I absolutely ADORE Lindt chocolate, specifically the Lindor milk balls. I'd complain and get so much free chocolate.
