I'm confused, why would Eto'o want to go to City?
According to Skysports news Thomas Vermaelen is saying he has signed for Arsenal...hopefully he can toughen up our defense should we sign him. Id hate to see Toure go to Man City, lets hope he doesnt and as much as id love to see his brother play with him...i dont think its gonna happen.
On another note West Ham Utd has been taken over by CB Holdings...interesting piece of news that is...wonder if they will have some money to splash around in the off season.
Hope fully that is true. Nice to see new blood in the team, plus he is experienced. Not heard of him before though.
He's 23, he isn't that experienced![]()
How old is Fabregas? Do you consider him not experienced?
I dont know for sure but if he is the Captain of the team then he should have been around a few years.
Fabregas has been playing at one of the top teams and for one of the top countries for a while though. Ajax are a notoriously youthful team. Just not sure why you would say experience is a bonus when you already have the likes of Gallas, Toure, Silvestre, Sagna, Clichy, Eboue.![]()
Youth and experience are two different things. You can still be experienced and youthful.
Experienced doesnt just mean old.
Just checked:
75 Apps for Club and 21 for Belgium. Sounds experienced to me
Senderos has 104 appearances for club and 31 for country.
Djourou has 58 appearances for club and 23 for country.
So he's no more experienced than the defenders you already have!
No, they just aren't very good, its really that simple.
The way some people on here go on about experience, if experience was ALL it was about, every single 34 yr old defender would be equally good as each other, there would never be a 20 yr old player who was better than a 25yr old player, etc, etc.
Experience makes marginal amounts of difference, a crap player is a crap player no matter how many games he's played. Likewise a world class talent will show how good he is straight away.
If thats not true, and its all experience, name me more than 3 players who were world class at 30, and crap at 20, infact name me 5 players in the premier league who improved massively between 20 and 30. I can name more who got worse and put in less effort as they got cushy pay checks, than those who got better.
Someone ban atpbx from this forum he hasn't got a clue
