can someone spec me a water cooling[arts for my Intel core i7 on a asus rampage extreme ii motherboard, and also for the EK watercooling blocks for your GPU, in this case lets just say they where 2 gtx 295 what tubing will i need?

so can someone also spec me the maximum performance water cooling for my cpu and my 2 gpu's (gtx 295) under the minimal cost??????

i would like also tubing if needed or anything else neded including coolant thanks !

i am doing this for a friend he does not know anything about water cooling, he just bought an i7 920 from O.C and a rampage extreme ii motherboard, with 2 gtx 295, please answer my questions

Sorry you cried wolf but I am feeling nice so I will help.

I don't know why you are on about blocks tubing that is for phase cooling. Watercooling all you need to do is fill any holes in you case and put your built case with parts in under a tap preferbly an outside one colder the better turn it on overclock it and your temps will be really good. Hope I cleared things up for you

What case has he got?
or is he going to store the radiators outside of the case?
How much is he willing to spend?

oh wait it's you..

Ek conveniently name their blocks. So find one called 295gtx full cover block. This isn't very likely to exist, as 295s are about to change to a single card design. The cpu block you want is called 'ek supreme lt', and the pump ddc 18W with the xspc aftermarket top.

Once you have a block for everything you want, which are rather conveniently named, you screw a 1/2" barb into every screw thread. The tubing you want will be several meters of 7/16" inner diameter.

Finally radiators, the more the better. Fit as many internally as you can, if temperatures are not good enough you'll have to start strapping radiators to the outside.

Build log sections are quite good for ideas and inspirations. Google is especially good for the rest. If this is for your friend, he needs to come here himself and research it. You clearly know nothing about it, so if you advise him on what to do it's going to end badly.

I'm aware that you're lying again, but thought I'd try to help anyway. You have Burnsy to thank for that.

Thank you soooo much

thank you soo much i swear on my life this is the real deal so this is what i got , i will provide links

http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=WC-026-DD the tubes how many tubes do i need????

http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=WC-006-EK you told me to buy these are these barbs? or something like that you told me in the post you made i got 6

http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=WC-001-OK for the barbs PTFE tape i got 1

http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=WC-000-EK for my friends Intel core i7 chip to go on to the asus rampage extreme 2 motherboard i got 1

http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=WC-029-EK this is for my friends 2 gtx 295, i got 2 of the blocks

can you give me the link of the pump and reservior, my friend is willing to spend about £250 he said he wants top of the line one

also if there is any other parts missing please provide links to those parts thank you for your post

Why do you need ptfe tape? waste of money ecspecially if you got 7/16 tubing over 1/2 barbs

What rads are you considering?

what the **** are rads lol so i do not need the tape????? i just wanted to know is that will everything fit what i bought in the description please take a look at the links please and also can you find me a resviour and pump top of the line 1 my friend is willing to spend £250 on it max , please

No swearing.

250 is not sufficient. It might do if everything is second hand, but even then you're pushing it. Sell one of the 295s.

Rads are radiators. They're very important, the more the better really. As said in my first post, you want the laing ddc 18W pump with xspc reservoir top. That's most of your budget gone immediately, you don't get top of the range for little money.

Ptfe tape is for the thread between barb and block, I'm not sure why Controller is recommending against it, hopefully he will clarify. Things are certainly more water tight with it, though I completely agree that placing it between the tubing and barbs is a bad call.

Your friend needs to come here himself. The blind leading the blind is not going to work well with watercooling, however much advice we give to you.

It is reasonable that we suspect you're making things up, I don't understand why the last one didn't get you banned but I suspect this one will. Oh, you're suspended.

£250 wont be enough for watercooling espcially as you need to 295 Blocks that will set you back at £200 so £50 rest of set up.

What case do you have? Also have you had experience in building as it would not be wise to jump into watercooling especially if there isn't much overclocking going to be done. Have you thought about getting a top line air cooling? Like Noctua heating with pull push fan configuration then buy some 3rd party coolers for the Graphics card this will done a pretty similar job and will be a lot easier and cheaper.

Do your barbs not have a black o ring at the sart of the thread? Keeps it as water tight as it needs to be

Lol this guy needs to reasrch this himself. But I think OCUK should do the watercooling kits that aren't the manufacturers again it would make it a lot easier!
