Many many times I have both read on the interweb and heard in the pub from BNP supporters that they are going to immigrate because of 'the state of this country'. My point was that they have zero integrity and are complete hypocrites! Surely that wasn't that hard to understand

right and far right parties across Europe gained strength in the last elections , except in France. Looks like Europe is turning to the right because of 1. unemployement 2. immigration 3.social problems.

No they got the seats because it was a low turn out. Their support hasn't grown.
How do people keep mistakenly concluding that it was the BNP's own political savvy or their airtight policies that won them these 2 seats? They were won by default due to labour voters not turning out.

Interesting research here from channel4 news Sauce going by that a lot of the people who voted BNP used to vote Labour and are hardly the unemployed/uneducated that a lot in this thread paint them to be.
There where even fewer voters than usual.
It's what I've been saying would happen for a long time. The minority groups their supporters will turn out and vote. whilst others who don't care don't vote and as such these minorities are gaining seats they shouldn't.
