But a friend that doesn't know the contact details, its not that they went to pub every week. they don't even have direct contact details phone, IM, etc. They are asking on an open forum for details and details that can easily looked at.

I wouldn't look into it too much if I were you. It's quite well-known that people aren't too fond of hemroids, and let's be honest; asim18 is one massive pain in the backside.

It's not uncommon for people to 'disappear' from online activities for awhile. They probably noticed earlier but only started to get concerned as it is starting to look unusual.
Sometimes cynicism is such an unattractive trait. Rein it in cheets, there's a time and a place - you know that.
I couldn't explain why he was angry at me. I made a legitimate point and his "attack" was completely unfair. I did nothing wrong.

Nix hits it on the head - people often come and go (there's a lot of 200-1000 post members on most forums) without being noticed, and everyone takes breaks from certain sites occasionally - but if someone is a regular on the site for a long time, and involved in the running of it, you wouldn't expect them to just stop visiting.

It was noticed a while ago. This has only been posted now because all real possibilities like an unexpected stay in hospital or a last minute holiday are seeming less likely hence why we are worried.
It was out of character for him to just disappear without any obvious reason. It's entirely possible that he has just tired of the place and has stopped posting but given his past thorough nature, we expected some sort of clue if that were the case.
It's totally fair to be worried.
Hope he's alright.
I once had a really good clan friend that totally vanished, it turned out months later that he had become addicted to drugs and was struggling with starting his own business at the same time. I don't know how he is now - Hope he's still fine too tbh.

As Scuzi said, we had noticed a while back, but we had exhausted the attempts at getting in touch with him so extended it to you in the vain hope that there would be some useful input... needless to say the childish remarks were expected. And in my rage I may have done something silly
