The amount of cranes in London will show you otherwise.

I know there has been a downturn but to say nobody is building anything, and all builders are out of work is wrong.

Don't let it stop you making an absolutely hysterical post though :)
 
Amazing - these protesters (who no doubt regard themselves as democratic, inclusive etc) are the ones denying freedom of speech to a legitimate, democratically elected party. I often wonder why the Left has so many nasty fascists on board
 
I'm a bit uneasy with these anti BNP protests, not because I'm for the BNP far from it but all it has really managed to do is get them more publicity.

If Nick Griffiths made his speech outside parliament without the protests today then only a very small number of people would have heard it, most people wouldn't have even known about it.

As it is the BNP are on the BBC news and millions of people again heard Nick Griffiths and it has given him and the BNP another platform for uttering their rubbish.

Maybe it's just me, but I would find it hard to speak with eggs and other missles being throw at my face and head. Would be rivers of blood if not for the giant body guards.

I am well aware what you posted it in response to. The post you were responding to was correct - and I don't think he meant literally building nothing - he obviously meant a huge downturn in construction. He was totally and utterly correct but you couldn't resist making a crass and contradictory post. That is why I pointed out how baseless your comment was. I'm not hysterical thanks, just bored of you and happy to pick up where you are wrong.

You helpfully refer to the number of cranes in London and since I have Drivers Jonas Q1 2009 Crane Report on my hard drive it is rather easy for me to reference. The first paragraph states speculative space under construction in London is down 35%, a huge margin. The second paragraph states the lowest ever quarterly take up of new property. Also in the second paragraph they state that there are only 6 new office scehemes in London, the lowest number of new schemes since this research began many years ago. I think that would suggest construction companies are hurting because of the downturn rather than those pesky polish workers, wouldn't you?

But neither is posting trying to suggest Cameron and other MPs are trying to silence (aka banning) the bnp. or suggesting that protests are un-democratic.

Well I wouldn't trust running a bath let alone a country to someone deluded enough to convince himself that the holocaust didn't happen. So in political terms, yes it does matter.

DirtyDog has eluded to having a somewhat reduced view of holocaust events, so I wouldn't imagine he will agree with you.

they could be?? there is no proof either way?? there is a big difference between a proper protest which im all for, and a violent one. You just make you and your cause look stupid when you start behaving like children and start throwing eggs

Right, because what he thinks and his opinions have no implications, not least because of his position, his views and what he has voiced on record, and especially that he is now an MEP.

I do find your flexibility to switch your defensive standpoints around from discretely yet digustingly inflammatory to are-you-*******-serious to sometimes borderline logical, truly impressive.
