These, but they have no CD player (but I think you can connect a CD changer though).

The X100 is the old version (think there was a 101 revision too) and you'll probably have to find that second hand.

And X001

Dont think there are any others, maybe with the exception of some big DVD HUs

The argument of saying you shouldnt be staring at pictures is utter balls TBH. Almost all my albums I can recognise by the album artwork, which just takes a quick glance at the screen. As most HUs cant display the full artist and album title without scrolling, its a much quicker way of identifying it.

Also, sometimes, it's just plain aesthetically pleasing.

I beleive it was HXC who was first on the scene with the comments, perhaps you should brush up on your reading, nipper ;)

Back to the discussion...

You're not staring at the screen anyway, it's just a nice value-add display really. Frankly some of the bloody spectrum analysers/demo modes you get on some headunits are considerably more distracting.

I have the iDA-X305 and it displays the album art when plugged into an iPod, but I use it with standard USB storage at the mo.

However when I connected my friends iPod to it for testing purposes, I'm pretty sure I wasn't able to browse album by the cover... could be wrong though!

Exactly - having the colour screen thats so clear makes navigation so simple - doing the album artwork is a "nice to have" thing rather than the killer feature

I was assuming they'd work like this actually. Displaying only the album playing, not allowing you to iTunes style choose an album.

Correct, it doesnt do "coverflow". Think the iPod 5th generation - navigation by text but displays album artwork for the current playing.

When I said it was easier to identify, I meant I quite often have it on random so a quick glance to see what the album is... You either get a small thumbnail on a screen with artist, album, track name and time or a "full screen" artwork with just the trackname at the bottom. Or a clock..
