I can see Glen Johnson being brought in at RB and possibly Aguero. Wish Arsenal could have a summer where we're linked to Ribery and co. :( sucks being a spectator for another clubs transfers, especially when they're players I want!
 
Yeh Ronaldo fair enough had a good season just gone was never going to fully commit after last summer.

Selling now is a good time given the fact Real will pay anything and keeping him for another year might of deflated his price tag, plus the world cup is next year so things wouldnt happen as fast as normally.

Ribery will be a tough player to get and they will probably have to pay more than they want for him

After the amounts Real have spent, with City around and Chelsea likely to spend big again then I can't see how you could get somebody like Ribery for a great deal less than £50m.

And yes you've spent less if the deal goes through. Well at least for the next couple of weeks.

Why do people on this forum have a problem with the fact that other people do actually watch other leagues. German/French football highlights are on Setanta allll the time. Not to mention international and CL games.
 
I think Liverpool might have a not great transfer window now to be honest, just looking at it Logically with City, Chelsea, RM all being loaded and United now probably receiving 80m, Milan £60m it's a bit of a sellers market out there to be honest. Certainly makes things harder for clubs trying to do things the normal way.

Thankfully Arsenal are a small club after last season and will be able to sneak in with lower bids and not be laughed at :D

you'll come up with a couple of clever purchases, don't think you were ever in the market for a silva a villa or a ribery to be honest, so you'll probably be ok.
 
I wouldn't be surprised if they launched a bid for Vidic, Barcelona have been sniffing about according to some places.

I don't see Liverpool making any big signings, I even have my doubts about Utd too.
 
I can honestly see United only buying 1 midfield player and maybe trying to bring through some of the youngsters this season.

It will makes things a little harder but as like you say, we're not likely to be going after any superstars so hopefully it won't have too much effect.

Surely Real won't still be after Silva now so hopefully that's 1 less bidder for him.
