The all encompassing BNP thread - keep all crap in here.

With respect, how much experience do you have of our towns and cities outside Devon, which as far as I know isn't exactly a hotbed of immigration.

Let's see, I used to visit London (specifically Clapham, in the Lambeth borough, which has a very high diversity rate) weekly. When I was younger, my mother was heavily involved in working with ethnic minorities in Ipswich (specifically bangladeshi mothers), as well as her wealthy white practice, as a community midwife, and I've seen the results, good and bad, of the sort of leadership employed in such a community.

I regularly visit towns and cities all over the UK, and with the exception of Birmingham, I've never felt uncomfortable in the presence of large numbers of ethnic minorities, and Birmingham is a city with no redeeming features anyway, irrespective of it's areas of non-white friendly attitude.

Is that enough?

Oh you're good! That is very clever what you have just done.
 thanks....
You join this forum and spend two whole days leading conversation against immigration and multiculturalism,
Oh really? Care to show that?
yet you claim you have no opinion and you're only slightly centre right
I am? I'm sitting on my sofa, did you think that was a political metaphor?
because everything you have said has been in the form of a question.
I see, asking people questions about why they hold certain views is bad........ oh and makes me sinister....
I don't know who you are
what difference does it make? I'm a middle class, well paid, family man in a professional role with no political affiliations at all.....
but you're far too good at this
at "this"?
and I strongly suspect you are from the BNP.
ROFL!!!!!
If I have time this weekend I'll compile your concealed diatribe over the last two days into a form that can be read.
Diatribe!! Hahahahaha. I'm only asking people to explain their strongly worded opinions and statements with some actual reasoning....
Frankly I find the whole thing very sinister.
Are you running short of medication? I've never been a fan of "care in the community". Perhaps some tinfoil wil help or perhaps you're just a paranoid weirdo.

You know what it could be...... well, it could be that I am simply used to holding discussions with intelligent adults where we reasoning rather than emotional responses are the key to communication. Perhaps you've not experienced that before.

Even if he talks nonsense most of the time, based on a fantasy view of the world due to inexperience of real life.

Sorry, can you give me some examples of what real life experience I lack? I mean, sure I haven't claimed the dole (I took a job in McDonalds on minimum wage instead) and I haven't been invovled in the criminal justice system (because I obey the laws of the land) but is there anything else I'm missing in your esteemed opinion?

Yeah you have to be a scummy benefit-claiming convicted serial drink-driver to be living in the real world, duh...

No because you visit these areas or view them from a distance but don't have to suffer the consequences of living in them up close and personal, do you.

So to understand, do I have to adopt racist views then live in an area with a high number of ethnics, which is always going to work to upset someone.

I do. But apparently I earn too much to be living in the real world. :(

Sucks to be us doesn't it in our little fantasy world.

The thing is, I can't help feeling if it wasn't the immigrants it would be someone else's fault. There are loads of people with victim mentality in Plymouth who don't have immigrants and ethnics to blame who manage to blame someone else just fine after all...

Where did I say that? Quote please...
Apparently my job precludes me from experiencing the real world :(

It can't be where I live after all, what with it being one of the most culturally and ethnically diverse areas in the country...

White British people are a ethnic minority within Haringey, forming just 45% of the population.
Oh noes I can has minority status?

There is always someone to blame, parents, teachers, management, government etc, etc.
However immigration brings some issues with it that are unique to immigration such as ......... lots more people fitting into the same space and competing for the same jobs, housing, schools and so on.
It is these issues that seem to be at the forefront of the concerns over immigration if I am correct in understanding the jist of various polls and newspaper articles.
Here is one detailing a recent yougov poll.

Another link here but about 1 year old looking at potential outcomes from immigration.
