I've got a magic, not a G1, but I've never seen that.

that looks a million times better than the useless Winmo! Seems to run really smooth and transitions nicely which makes a change.
Will have a serious look at the next phone it comes out on over here in the States!

I've seen that on magic. This week. And the lag moving stuff with finger around screen. And browser showing to column even when set to display full page. Switching from landscape to regular was just some odd affair trying to render something pretty for half a minute where just a quick flip of picture was required. I tried to find out if there was something running in a background, but couldn't find task management and the owner couldn't help either.

I've used the internet quite a bit and I've never noticed a delay like that, I couldn't say that it hasn't happened maybe it has and I haven't noticed.
