They are all 1992-1995 cars, they cost a few hundred quid, if you want one just buy one now, doubt there will be any left in 3 years time. The way this thread is worded it was as if you were planning the purchase of an R34 Skyline or something![]()
To reply to this part too, the latest they do the civic i like is 00 if not 01, so your already wrong

There are better cars out there.
the si above is the same as the uk 99-00 vti coupe, they go by the body code em1
civiclife.net is the best
I have a friend who is utterly obsessed with his civic. He's spent an absolute fortune on a new exhaust which sounds idiotic, suspension, couple of body mods. While it admitedly does look nice I just don't understand how he can justify spending £4k or so on a Civic + mods at age 17. He doesn't go out and do social things because he spends all his money on his car.
He's obsessed with "JDM" and it does my nut in.
The worst thing is he plans to keep it for like 7 years and do an engine swap... What is it with people wanting to do engine swaps on their first cars? Buy something better...
Been there done that. (EG's, EJ's, EK's, you name it).
Now i'm looking for a 330ci sport and to be honest i could never imagine going back to the low quality of those old hondas. Don't get me wrong, it was all good and fun, buying new parts every week and tuning the cars but i now realise to everyone else they were just 10 year old cars that make loads of noise and mean that they can't sit in my backseats or i won't get over a speedbump.
I'm looking forward to a more refined powerful car.
