Did you just enable HT (and reduce CPU clock by 200mhz in the process) and update your gfx drivers and go from average 57fps to 119fps?!
If so thats amazing, what a difference!
Or maybe you also turned vsync off?
I'm having problem with my 8800gts 512, the game crashed only when I set the AA to 2x. Everything is running smoothly at 1920x1200 without aa average at 110 fps.
Aye, that's happening to a few of us. No work around but keep in mind this is just a benchmark and the issue will likely be resolved in the full game.
You are the one to beat, let me max out my rig, be back in a sec and i will update this post![]()
Clocked down to 3.6 and enabled HT.
Updated drivers to 185.85 (whihc inceidentally are lagging for some reason)
SCORE: 8961
AVERAGE: 119.87FPS
OS: Windows Vista(TM) Ultimate
CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7 CPU 920 @ 2.67GHz
Memory: 6134MB
Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 295
Display Setting: 1920x1080 24Hz C16xQAA

No, i've had mine from release (original 60Gb BC PS3 and still going strong) you must have mistaken me for someone else. But i have been really enjoying SF4 on the PS3. This game on the PC will live or die based on it's netcode. If it's solid as a rock i will make the switch from the PS3 to the PC for SF4, i still have GT5 and loads of other games + BD so my PS3 won't be gathering dust, don't worrySee I knew buying that PS3 again was wrong![]()

I will need a decent PC fighting stick however
I think it may be a driver problem. I'm using Windows 7 RC build 7100. I'm usign an 8800GTX and the 185.85 Win7 driver for it. Anyone else using Windows 7 offer any help as to why this benchmark doesn;t want to work for me? The menu works fine, the actual benchmark crash's. Black screen and then to desktop.
I had the same problem with the black screen using the 185.85 drivers, downloaded the latest beta driver 186.08 and the benchmark runs ok.
