What the bloody hell is going on? I checked this morning while my mother was shouting 'come on ya gonna be late for work' all to no joy.
Now I'm home and still no update!

It looks like the gold master has been leaking around the internet since May. A quick search in Google comes up with a bit. Thats probably why there are many people with the new features. Apparently its the same release as tonight and you install it through iTunes. I wouldn't know though!

Dont install the 3.0 GM lol, I did and having a mission trying to get my phone back to 2.2.1 for the official update

Ok cheers chaps.. As I said, I've not really had any dealing with them before but since the o2 deal looks very tempting
If you can get to an O2 or Apple store it's worth spending the time playing with one for a while to see if you like it. There is no way I would have bought one without having the chance to test it fully first.

Probably will happen!
a) Because I'd have to do a restore to install it and lose all my music, etc
b) Nobody seems to be sure if it locks the phone in dev mode or not
c) Why bother when you can get it officially?
