Reset mobile internet settings

sweet i'm doing it from work so no prob with bandwidth..

• Backup phone in iTunes (e.g. perform a sync)
• Keep iPhone connected to PC/Mac
• Hold down Power+Home on the phone until you see a message about the phone being in recovery mode
• Let go of the buttons now
• Click "Restore"
• Done

This will ruin your jailbreak, but I cannot talk of this here.

I did this so that I had a fresh 2.2.1 to upgrade from but all my downloaded apps have gone?

i have no faith.... iphone 2g took me 6 hours to activate, 3g took me 3 hours so with that in mind
