If you won EuroMillions...

Take a hint and go away, nobody cares what you have to say whatever account your posting on.

Not really much need for that, is there?
I'm sure there are some people on these forums who share my distaste for the GTR. Life is about opinions, you can't tell someone to "go away" because they don't share your views.

Fact: Having your Mums car in your sig is lame.

Deal with it.

No, it's the car I drive on a daily basis. Not sure what's lame about that, some of us aren't as fortunate as you and don't own a car. I don't go around calling people "lame" because they have pictures of 911s and GTRs in their sigs which are straight out of a Google images result.

Although now that you mention it I'm very happy driving it thanks. I might as well own and run it myself as I can use it when I want, where I want. All the privilidges of owning a car without actually paying for or owning it. Not really sure what's "lame" about that? But I guess in your books I'd earn respect going and blowing my earnings on a tin can, which is fair enough but economically retarded and utterly pointless.

One of these would do me nicely,

failing that a classic morgan.

This is getting silly. Chavs lust over everything from Corsas to Ferraris. The GTR may be a "chavs wet dream" but so is every other super car. This is why they spend thousands trying to turn their 1993 Nova Merit into some Testarossa replica. It's a valid point, but an utterly worthless one.

The difference being you and many others put fourth fair points and arguments. Fox, despite having a sound technical knowledge of cars, acts like a child, makes everything personal and has some sort of internet anoniminity syndrome.

Its usually because the argument AGAINST what you normally say is so plain obvious sometimes that there's no point. I'm not saying it in this instance, because I did reply back regarding the chav/gtr issue. But many times.

Not trying to be mean, but it is what it is :)

I understand and that may be the case in other examples such as the car insurance arguments, but what one person thinks of a car is subjunctive. If I think the GTR is a "chav's wet dream," some people will point out things like "as is pretty much anything with over 200bhp and a bodykit" and others will tell me to go away and drive my mum's car, simply because they don't agree. We can all take the mick out of people for trivial things, it's making good humour of it and using it in appropriate situations which divides genuinely witty, intelligent people from a grumpy keyboard warrior who can't even be bothered to contribue constructively.

Its the magic of the forum, back in 2006 when I did a thread on my brand new Fiesta Zetec 1.25, I didnt get the flaming people nowadays get, but I knew what to expect, and ol' Foxy, the only good thing he could say was that it was 'shiny' haha!

Tommy's the guy who said all 4x4's should be banned... for ... he never gave a reason, just that they should be banned.

Why so offended?

Fact: The GTR is an incredibly high performing car.
Fact: The GTR is every chav's wet dream.

Deal with it.

What does the fact I have two accounts have to do with anything?

Not offended, it's just tiresome. Like a person constantly bitching about about how Minis are just lifestyle accesorries for fat women, any merit in that point of view is worn thin if constantly repeated.

You've use both accounts to post the same opinion.

It's a thread about what cars you wish to own, yet you've managed to post about a car you don't like, bit odd that, but hey, carry on sunshine.

The word you want is subjective by the way, not subjunctive.

I don't know which is more lame tbh

Edit: Yea I do, its the people who put things in there sig that they have no way of owning, but you come close!

As for the 4X4 thread, I look back and I will agree I put fourth some pointless and ridiculous arguments. I still don't believe there is anything inherently wrong with them, I just believe that purely from experience, people who buy and drive them can be complete and utter pricks who don't want a real driver's car but a an apparently-fashionable wealth icon.

I'd love to buy a Defender though if I lived on a farm, they are great fun to drive and, yes Fox, I have driven one many times :D

And finally... If you want to think the fact I drive my "mum's" car is lame then fair enough, think that because I couldn't really care less what you think. I count myself lucky and it provides plenty of driving enjoyment as opposed to you generic teenager's hatchback :)

But it was Tommy B who posted in that thread, not you?
