BEST HANGOVER CURE?????

Don't take paracetemol for a hangover it can have some nasty results with the old liver I believe, asprin is a pain as it can make you feel well sick so instead opt for ibuprofen.

I never get a headache but my stomach gets very on edge. The best thing for me is to drink a pint of fresh orange when I get up.....then about 50% of the time I'm sick which makes me feel better or an hour or so later I feel fine ;)
 
Personally, mine is cured after I sit on the toilet for 20 minutes ;)

But sober up before you sleep, that's what I try to do, always works for me.
 
Pint of water and a banana when you come in, if you can be arsed, even better is one of my drunk cooking omelettes theyre great.

If you fail to do this the best thing is to avoid going verticle the next day, you're fine if you stay lying down.
 
Hydrate yourself properly at least 2 days before going out, the average adult should consume approx 2.5-3 litres of water per day. Most of us are dehydrated before a beer even touches our lips.
Have the fryup before you go out not after, as suggested multivits are good. we also deplete our sugar and salts when out on the raz.

So if your up for making a wonder drink for the morning, avoid raw eggs, but a real banana smoothie with honey will sort you out well, packed with sugar, sodium and unoffensive tastiness.
 
I've got it down to a science.

Before going out, multivitamin and a spoonful of olive oil, the multivitamin gives you some good stuff in your body which the booze drains, the olive oil lines your stomach (and much better than milk).
Get in, drink as much water as possible, the more the better (i do about 6 pints after a 12 pinter), it won't do you 100% though, take another multivitamin and 2 asprin (this makes the hangover come on faster).
Wake up, have a pint of orange juice (vitamin c, damn good for a hangover), scrambled eggs (they contain a certain chemical which helps filter out the hangover toxins fast) and a banana (your body is dranied of potassium). Cold shower to wake you up, done.
If you need a boost, powerade, it replenishes the electrolites you lose during drinking.

Do not drink coffee, it will temporarily relieve headaches by widening the blood vessels in the brain but it will make matters so much worse afterwards.

I get hammered every week and i feel right as rain the next day with this method.

My thoughts exactly, I'd be more concerned about the cause if people are regularly taking some of the more extreme measures in this thread. I like most I'm sure get the occasional hang over and it's probably just a fair punishment for getting carried away the night before. I certainly can't imagine having a saturday night anti hangover routine, I never even did that as a student.
 
Massive kebab before bed plus a pint of water. Then in the morning up early for water plus food and then back to sleep for a few hours.

I try not to take any medication, hangovers are natures way of telling you you've gone to far and are harming your body - take the pain and try to remember it next time someone suggests sambuca!
