Spec me a gaming rig, sub 750

Which would be the best out of the corsair tx650 and the pc power and cooling. The power and cooling is 750w, which could, as I said, be a bonus in the not so far future - which one should I go for do you guys think - based on value and quality

Both very good PSUs, with the PC P&C for £2 more than the Corsair, you're getting 100W more.

One thing I've noticed about the antec 300 - seems like a great case apart from this - is that the PSU is mounted at the bottom. I know this is better for the airflow etc, but will the cables from this psu reach the asus motherboard, without buying extension cables. If there is a fair amount of stretching then this is obviously not the best idea.

it'll be fine dont worry:D

your only concern will be that the 4pin mobo connector only long enough to go straight over the gfx card and not around the whole motherboard:D

people will always say dont skimp on a PSU!

This thread is funny reading it from the beginning! The power of greed is wonderful.

You're going to have the same build as me pretty much... I have 2 x 4890's which run very well (if you want to stretch your budget further).

I personally went for "top" on this pc cause my last one I got a single 7900GT not SLI and paid the price a few months down the line when I was out of date on games!

Then again if you have money to spend down the line you can always stick a 2nd in, as others have said though don't skimp on your psu!

Okay, thanks, andy yeah rexeh, I will probably go crossfire in a couple of years or so I think I'll go for the power pc and cooling, due to the extra power :)
