How much do postmen get paid ?

Just theres a position going availble at my local post office

its not amazing pay but you get great amounts of free time once youve mastered a round

Yeah it looks pretty easy if you get the whole round down (our post man always looks happy these days when he drops off the random dvds or something), cant imagine its that badly payed either....

Or you could look at it as being payed to work out (instead of spending money to go to the gym) whats not good about that!

yes from experience. about 4years ago mind. if i put a good effort in i could be finished stupidly early

Oh it's all changed now. The management reneged on their Job & Finish agreement that saw deliveries take on extra work and now they are lapsing one whole walk and carving it into six pieces for those around it to do, in their time and if they go over they don't get any docket for it.

OP - what hours are you getting?

That doesn't really make that much sense but seeing as you took the time to reply, it isn't funny. It may have been when the first person ever to type it typed it but it's tiresome and boring now.

we now have a new postman, but I will still never get my copy of fight club for ps2, or my mortal kombat dvd.

I'd say calling somebody a "moron" as a result of a joke about what most people are thinking these days about the shocking state of the postal system is an over-reaction.

Just read on the royal mail site that full time postmen/postwomen will earn around £256 a week ?
