Which one is the iso?

yep, Download Virtual Clone Drive (freeware) install it and it'll make a virtual cd drive in My Computer. Right click it , choose mount and choose your iso file and see what happens!

If i did this would I install the whole operating system onto the virtual drive? I only have 18 gb left so I couldnt do that.

-EDIT-

I tried mounting it and this is the window I got.

I just mounted it with the ISO in the winrar file, not from the finished disk. Hopefully as its from the winrar the error is normal, and nothing to worry about?

You wouldn't mount the ISO in a virtual drive to install the operating system, rctneil suggested it to check the ISO can be mounted and isn't corrupt.

If by once downloaded you meant once it's burned, then use the Verify disc option in ImgBurn to verify that the burn was successful.

You're running 32bit Vista, you can't use the upgrade option in Windows Setup to upgrade to a 64bit version of Windows. Instead you have to boot from the DVD and do a clean install.

imgburn is perhaps the simples. just right click on your iso and go to open with and select Left click) Imgburn. Always choose verify.
After downloading an ISO always check it's checksums (MD5) particularlly when downloading from Rapidshare et al. Torrents tend to be more reliable in that they do hashchecks throughout the download.
I would dowmload the latest 64 bit build 7232 an ISO get it by googling:

Windows 7 Ultimate x64 build 7232 by SoLoR

using utorent
Here are the checksums:
x64 ISO
FILE: 7232.0.amd64fre.winmain.090610-1900.client_en-us.ultimate.SoLoR-custom.iso
SIZE: 7,409,031,680 byte
CRC: 6D9CD5EC
MD5: 793332DBEE81F1CDAC7581CF0B36DADC
SHA1: C686E0A705A4655CB1CB058D26A613D6C414A868

MD5 can be downloaded here:

http://www.pc-tools.net/files/win32/freeware/md5sums-1.2.zip

Just left click on your downloaded ISO and drag it over the MD5 alpplication and it will check it out
