Hey,

My OPC is stuck in sleep mode and it loop booting, is there anywasy I can make it think that it's not in sleep mode so it can try and boot normally?

What OS are you on this was a known Vista bug a while back.
Just update etc.

Also if your on Windows 7, this happened to me, just disable sleep mode in control panel.

So when you do a cold boot what happens? It logs into Windows and goes straight into sleep mode?

& What are your specs?

mash F8 when rebooting and boot into safemode.

just goes to show, Hybrid sleep is rubbish :P

No, it tries to load, dies, tries to load, dies. I see no display and usb ports aren't on

Read above

Get latest bios for motherboard as well.

How can I if it doesn't boot?

How do I clear the BIOS, and no, just when it should POST, it dies and tries to boot again

There is usually a jumper on the mobo somewhere to clear it, I used to get exactly the same problem but that was from overclocking too much it would just keep restarting before anything was displayed on the screen.

Would underclocking my RAM from max of 1066MHz to 667MHz cause this problem?

Yeah clear cmos, not bios lol. Clearing the bios would end up with a dead motherboard.

If clearing the cmos doesn't work, then its probably a hardware fault.

Could be a faulty motherboard or PSU then,
Do you have any spares that you could use to test with.

Tested with another PSU, still loops

And CMOS clear doesn't work, I think it is the mobo
