Watching every first-team game he's played last season and before. Welbeck is raw but I think he'll come good (whether its for United remains to be seen). Macheda likewise.

Says nothing about why you think that Gibson is worse than them though, merely that they are likely to come good. I agree with you on that, I'm merely saying that at the moment Gibson is the most complete player of the lot.

Nail on the head.

I think Gibson, is the best at the moment, I think the two kids have talent, but I don't understand all the ****ing over them, nor do I get how we know they're going to be the next big thing.

Hype. Nothing more. The media have dubbed them "wonderkids" that's all.

How is Gibson the best of the lot, every long range pass he hits is woeful and never finds its target what does he possibly add to our midfield? He failed at Wolves as well. He is a poor version of Carrick.

Macheda and Wellbeck have a lot of promise, Ferguson has earmarked Wellbeck has a cert for England WC next year..and he knows a thing or two about players.

If Gibson was any good, it wouldn't be reported that he is currently transfer listed would it ?

He certainly would have had contract talks by now, and I cant find reports of any.

I've seen enough of welbeck to see he is gash, and Macheda looks inexperienced but built for the game.

Oh and if you knew anything you'd know that SAF has earmarked Gibson as having a very real chance of breaking into the starting 11 next season

I like Gibson, he's not setting the world a light, but he's okay.

Mach and Welbeck are too young, really too young and have looked really out of their depth. Welback especially.

Gibsons contract runs out either this month or next month, How many prospective first teamers have we let go to the end of their contract before tying them down?

His contract doesn't run out for another year

"My contract is coming to an end so, hopefully, at the end of the month I'll be signing a new one," said Gibson.

"My current deal ends at the end of next season but, normally, a player would enter into new contract talks at the end of this month.

"I've been told that a few clubs had expressed an interest in signing me, but I want to give it a good push and have a proper go at it next season before I decide to go anywhere else."

I like Wolves ! and I like Kevin Doyle, he's a good striker, Reading had to get back up to hold on to him really.

Hunt ? has anyone got him from Reading, he's a good player.

That's the problem, a couple of years ago he had a fantastic workrate, always making runs down the channels, always closing down opposition players etc. But now after one good season of goalscoring he's only putting in average effort.
