A company doing what it set out to do, shock horror, shame threads of a company doing badly are see as no no, on the internet.
 
They do seem to be doing a great job of late... I've placed several 1000s worth of orders in the last ~6 months and everything has been flawless so far - in some cases I've ordered with only minutes to spare for next day delivery and they've got it done in time.

Amazing to see that when someone gives good feedback on the forum to OCUK about a purchase from OCUK, It get's met with quite hostile negativey and critisism.

Why would they let people bash them on a forum they provide free of charge?

Particularly when people who have a bad experience will be far more likely to post complaining than someone praising them.
 
Ricochet J - do you make this kind of posts on other forums belonging to other companies, or is this just a "I'm in the gang" post?:confused:

i personally find ocuk more expensive than the competitor i use by a country mile.

that said i have bought special offer stuff from here before
 
I take advantage of the free delivery occasionally and not had a problem with pricing or delivery so far, so no complaints here :)

But this is the Forum for the OcUK store, so why wouldn't you expect to see people posting such threads?

I'm sure if you were running a business providing customer service of any kind you'd appreciate some positive feedback from time to time.
 
While I'm not adverse to people giving praise when deserved, it does annoy me when these threads are allowed to exist when every other moderating rule is followed religiously.

Surely 'no shop talk' means just that?
 
To be honest overclockers get a bad rep on a lot of other forums, but Ive never had any issues returning anything to you guys or hassle so id recommend your service. Just waiting for free shipping now :D

Find me the rule that says no shop talk. Never has been such a rule.

We do have a rule of no order specific queries on the boards outside of the customer support section due to the odds of shop people simply missing the threads.

Get the facts right before posting. :)

My apologies. I was going off the numerous posts which say "No shop talk" where the thread has been either closed or deleted.

I suppose every rule has a grey area.
