Rodders.

Showed promise in places, decent passer of the ball but need to baulk up a bit for the Prem, never seemed the same after that filthy Pogatetz tackle.

Hope he does well and comes back a better player :)

Spot on :)

Exactly my thoughts about him too :)

Terry to Manchester City next ;)

According to the BBC and Sky, Manchester City have had two bids turned down, City are willing to offer double his current wages.

*this isn't directed at Terry.

Wondering, if a player in that position, Paid well, Playing Champions League football, would swap it for just more money.

But seriously I hope Rafa doesn't think Lucas is a good enough replacement, he should have been the first out the door this summer.

Who wouldn't?! He was literally robbing them of £110k a week to watch a football game

Mascherano fell out with Benitez towards the end of the season? The interview he gave stating he was happy at Liverpool weeks after the season had finished must've all been made up then

Daily Mail/Mail On Sunday: Written by spastics for spastics

To be honest if liverpool sell arbeloa, alonso and mascherano, we should get for all three in the region of 60-70 million.

That would be enough to buy a midfielder, lucas isn't quite up to it yet, and also to buy a striker. we could then go 4-4-2 with gerrard in the middle of the park, and I'd love to see huntelaar at liverpool

^^ Why would we want to go back to a 4-4-2? Name a deadlier partnership in world football than Gerrard and Torres.

Just read the interview Owen gave yesterday and I wasn't surprised to see England mentioned time and time again. Honestly don't think he'll give a stuff how well he does at United as long as he gets back in the England team.
