OCD, what's yours?

Before i shut down my computer i quickly put the mouse cursor to the top left of the screen. :D Im daft.

Always annoyed when I have to take a **** and the tap is dripping, always have to close it down properly/hard or I get very annoyed during my toilet visit.

Bog roll must always be over the top, HATE it when it's under it.

I wouldn't call it an OCD as such, but my phone always goes in my right pocket, keys and wallet in the left.
More of a habbit, have just always had it that way.

When it gets busy at work, I have the habbit of bouncing my knee... when I notice i'm doing it I normally stop but..

You are all freaks!!!

*Saying that, doesn't it make me a freak if I don't have strange things like those... hmmm*

God i thought i was weird, a lot of strange stuff in this thread :p

Only one i can think of is that i cannot have an adjustable digital readout (such as a stereo volume, climate control temperature, etc) on certain numbers. I would say that i dont like odd numbers, but 15 is ok so that doesnt quite hold true.

For example i will only ever set things such as my car's climate to 10, 12, 15, 18, 20, 22, 25 etc.

If i am sitting in somebody else's car or see someone else's stereo on something like 17, it will bug the hell out of me so much that i will notch it up to 18 when they are not looking.

Haha my missus will not allow the temp control to be set .5, it has to be 16 or 17 it cannot be 16.5. :D

when i'm hungry i always check the fridge for something to eat, but knowing full well there is nothing in there i manage to go back each and every time :(

I get really really annoyed when people fill up with something like £32.56 worth of petrol, a few times I've gone a penny over and rounded up to the next fiver, once I ended up putting in £15 more than I wanted to so I could get it bang on. Lock me away please :D

They probably just filled their car up, I am still yet to work out why anyone would put a set amount of fuel into a vehicle they own unless its a hire car or something. I will always fill my cars up, whether that be £32.56 until the click, or £74.87 - doesnt make any difference at all, my car, i will use the petrol regardless!

* Locking the car multiple times (remote central locking) even if I see the lights flash and hear it lock.
* Have to test the front door twice when I lock it
* Have to put the security chain on the door before I go to sleep.
* Have to write code in a particular style - I used to reformat my colleagues SQL because it was such a mess and I couldn't stand maintaining it.
* Desktop must have 2 items - My Computer and Recycle Bin. No more, no less.
* Phone in front left pocket, wallet in rear right. When wearing combats, phone is in the left leg pocket, wallet in the right.
* Always have a pee before I go to sleep, even if I don't really need to go.

There are probably more!

Similar for me, phone & keys in the left, wallet & change in the right. Not OCD as such just the weight is the same and I'm used to them being on me so I can normally tell if I've left anything behind as it just feels wrong from the weight.

Oh and after locking my car using the key fob I always check the door to see if its locked not too much hassle as my fob only works from a foot away from the drivers door at most. I got in to the habit after leaving my car unlocked when the central locking didn't work so I think it's justified.

Before I had my phone I always did keys left and wallet right pocket, now I always keep my wallet and mobile in my right pocket, and my keys and other things like my work stuff in my left pocket. In any way, nothing sharp/hard goes in my right pocket.

Also...

Whenever using public loos, always barrier myself from the seat with a layer of toilet paper.

Also never use hand driers in the toilet, unless they are Dyson ones, after being told that the air that is recycled, recycles all the dead skin aswell :(

I count the cash at work and have to have all the queens heads on the notes facing the right way. I think it stems from the 'old days' when banks wanted you to do this, apparently you don't have to do it any more, but I HAVE to!

Also, when I hear a noise I usually have to replicate it. So if someone beeps their horn in the street, I'll say 'honk' or if someone's mobile goes off at work i'll say 'beep beep' :/ The Securicor guy's little barcode machine makes a noise I have to repeat too, it's rather strange. Fortunately it doesn't work with all noises though, otherwise I'd have lost my voice by the end of the supermarket shopping :p
