I dont know if the PSP Go! has been discussed already:

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/technology/8080452.stm

But as there is no UMD slot, what happens to those of us who want the new console and have a selection of UMD games?

Is anyone here going to get one? I am tempted, but 16Gb doesn't seem big enough for an extensive collection of games. I thought PSP games were about 1.5Gb each, does this sound right?

Thanks for that, tis good that we're not going to get screwed by Sony :)

I always pay for games as I believe they are actually value for money, so would be gutted if all my UMD's were defunct!

Pre-order for £250 !! I can't see who they are aiming that at really. Not even half tempted

As above really, it's a very attractive product as I'd love all my games to be on the console rather than carrying a load of discs around with me but I wouldn't pay anywhere near £200 for it nevermind £250.

£130 would be my limit really, and yes I bought the DSi but I took advantage of an offer and traded an old DS lite in that was tatty.

yeah me too

I have it pre ordered for £180.

I will cancel it however based upon the announcement on how you will be able to play disc games/old collections - none of this rumoured to be etc.

If it isnt backwards compatible from the start I will just wait till its cheaper...

Soon as the modding scene get a hold of it its only a matter of time, allthough the 3000 model is still causing trouble so im not holding my breath for anything soon :(

Ill still be buying one regardless, still recon the psp has been one of my all time best purchases, still running an original japanese release PSP-1000 and loving it :D

You should get a slim & lite, it feels so much better in the hands! I had 2 fat PSPs as I didn't want to fork out extra but my third one is the slim & lite, it's how the PSP should have been originally.

:D

That's roughly the price of the 3000 series.

The added 16gb would make it worth more, no?
Personally I would say £150 is more realistic for the PSP Go, especially since the 3000 and others will probably drop in price too.
