I just moved into my new place in Denmark & we have fibre, so IP tv & mad broadband speeds :) All the years I lived in blighty I often wondered what I would do if I had such service when the best I could ever connect at was 2mb. So I have initially gone with 10/10 which is great for my odd downloads from iTunes & running a webserver but I was wondering what people might do with a 60/60 package?

I would do nothing different with a faster connection. The only difference it will make will mean i could download what i currently download in a shorter space of time. I'm currently on 20Mb, so going to 60Mb is not like it allows me to do anything more, I can already stream HD content, download at fantastic speeds etc..

When i went from dialup to broadband, that gave me the ability to do things that would simply take too long on dialup to be worthwhile, and now that i am on 20Mbit, i can do everything I could want.

Start serving up my media collection so that I can stream it from anywhere.

It's upstream that needs attention. I'm fed up of 100% of the ISP's marketing being focused on downstream.

Probably nothing different than I do now.

Same here. Although the internet is my accommodation is a mahoosive 1mb down / 256k up so I would probably not want to die every time I need to download something!! I only get this due to me working for them, everyone else has to deal with 512k unlimited or 1mb with a 5gb limit :/

Surely with that kind of connection you can make some money selling cheap teamspeak servers or something?

Login to a server with an awesome upload connection and store the stream from this perl script
my $string = "Jesus.pic";
while(1){
print $string, "\n";
}

I'm experimenting with some iPhone push Apps right now that I hope I could serve from home and iPhone game stats, high score tables etc, so I think it will come in handy. 60mbit upload is insane though.

I think ocuk sell 1tb HDD, it should fit onto one of them.

Download porn... lots and lots of high definition porn. ;)

This combo nicely, but beware as the guru says "you'll go cross eyed!"

It might not make all that much difference downloading single stuff from one place, but if you can download from multiple sources (:D) then you will fly!

Download, download some more
Did I mention download?

I want something faster than the current 6mbit I get on ADSL2+ from Be (beats BT who can only offer me 3mbit).
But I refuse to go Virgin Media, don't trust them now and didn't trust them as NTL.
