Modern Warfare 2 : Prestige Edition

I'd be tempted if they where gen 1 :p

but then i'd much rather buy a small monocular, that i could fit in my poket.

I would be more impressed if they released a no frills version, with just the DVD in a plastic wallet for £10 or something.

this tbh. I'd love no frills versions of the game that came with just a wallet and pdf manual.

Will this Prestige edition be on pc too?
Im thinking about £100 console and £90 pc?
Would these be effective enought to sneek around my house and garden?
What will be the range on them? and do you think there will be a light on them somewhere so you cant exactly hide in the dark.

Hope this is released in uk on pc, 10% student discount should et me another £10 off :-D

£119.99 for ps3 & xbox360 ouch

Pricy, but less so now they have announced the normal version is going to RRP at £55. Thanks but no thanks at that price.

Activision has announced a high launch price for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 as publishers react to growing cost pressures.

The company has confirmed that the highly-anticipated first-person-shooter will carry a RRP of £54.99 when it is released this November.

Another article I read said it would be that price across ALL platforms I would never pay £55 for a PC game ever and would be hard pushed to pay that much for a console game

I remember when publishers said if there wasnt piracy they could reduce the cost of games.......

Yet here we are with a game that they know is gonna sell by the cluster funk tons, yet they slap the price up. Total BS.

Do the current pre-order prices of MW2 reflect this ? I can see the PC version is normal price, maybe this is just FUD to increase pre-orders at this stage....

I ready somewhere that it was due in part to the relatively weak pound affecting their pricing policy, I dont remember them reducing prices when the pound was p***ing all over the US dollar though.
Whatever the reason there is no way Im willing to spend £50 on the latest CoD game, Im sure many people will and I could quite happliy afford it but at that price they can stick it up their arses.

Here's the thing though, the £-$ is the strongest it's been all year. Why they choose to do it now is strange.
