**Summer Transfer Thread: News, Rumours and Speculation**

:D

What's going on with your club now? Haven't heard much about them recently.

Still on the market apparently but it the 'sale' seems to be dragging on for ages. Loads of fans are getting more and more worried, some even worried about relegation. I wouldn't go that far but promotion looks like a pipe dream at the moment.

So people here think Carrick is worth the same amount as Alonso... oh dear...

Eh?

Saying Carrick is better or equal to Alonso is just not true. He's a good player, but unless you haven't watched the two play regulary, know nothing about football or your in plain denial while wearing Man.Utd tinted glasses, its quite obvious who the better player is.

Says the Liverpool fan

You think Alonso is better. We think Carrick is better

Shocking that eh

EDIT: Oh and what the hell was the point of Manucho? He's been sold after half a season at United

Evidence that Huddlestone being fat is no more than a myth.

He's just slow. :p

I went to the link for sound, its painful to hear :p

Scrolled down through the pics as interesting to see what training they do. There was another pic of Huddlestone and he looks, well, tiny, think he's lost a lot of weight tbh, didn't think he was "fat", just not particularly thin.

I've watched the vid several times now and have burst out laughing everytime I hear Bentley. :p

I hope I never meet him. Would die from laughter.

IT'S OFTEN said that Tom Huddlestone could drop a ball on a sixpence and he proved it in an unfamiliar fashion on Tuesday.

Exchanging passes with Robbie Keane, the pair changed angles so the drinks bin - about the size of an old-fashioned black rubbish bin - was between them.

Naturally, the bin was soon the target and Tom found it at his first attempt with a quite exquisite example of his control over a football.

Keano rolled the ball into him and Tom, from about 20 yards, got his foot right under the ball so it span up in the air and right into the middle of the bin. Man and football in harmony!

By the way, Keano also landed at about the third attempt with a cheeky half-volleyed effort.
I still have high hopes for the big fella, he's got all the ability in the world... just needs to get his head right and I think Harry could well be the man to sort him out.

If not as a CM then as a CB. What a weapon to have a CB able to spray accurate passes about straight from the keeper.

Arshavin is probably worth £15- 20m I would say (if he can perform as well over a season as he did over a relatively small section of games at the end of last season)

Carrick is easily worth £20+ million due to success and experience and to an English club possibly £25m+

Only ManU would pay that for him. A lot of players have "experience and success" at ManU but that doesnt make them worth £20-25m.

I think good players stick out even if you are not a fan of the club. I barely notice Carrick is playing not alone stick out.

You cant say Arshavin didnt make some appearances last season that didnt make him stand out from the crowd.
