Interesting retort from Barry about money not being the motivating factor on his move to siddy. God forbid he questions Rafa having little Rehspect. Good on the lad and I for one believe him 100% :p

If it makes Manuel's Fachts less Fachtual then more power to him :D

Yeah....sure.

Now lets ask him if he would have moved to City if his wages were only £50k a week and we'll gauge how much it really is about money and how much its really about "the chance to be part of something big from the very beginning".

Who thinks Beckham is going to end up at Chelsea?

Still no news on Newcastle.... seen someone yesterday with the new top with the coca cola championship badge on it and the championship style name and number...........

eugh

Championship names and numbers are mint man. :p Even if the Championship itself is crap. :(

Rafa seriously going to go after Young for £20 million? Considering the games from last season with Barry I imagine MON going for the same tactic of holding onto his ridiculous valuation of £30 million and nothing happening.

Although the reports that Alonso is staying and has joined up with the team for our pre-seasons games are a welcome bit of good news. :)

There is no way in hell we'd get Young for £20m from MON. He probably wouldn't even let him go to us for £30m

People shouldnt even be using the words "Ashley Young" and "thirty million" in the same sentence.
He is probably worth a little bit more than Villa paid for him, but not much more.

OK I was looking for videos of him actually doing good stuff. He looks really good in all of the build up play, great touch etc. But when it comes to finishing, he is god awful :p

Shock horror signing another one of his old players. As I said earlier in the thread he either signs his old players or brings back the players that left spurs.

Bents a better player and you wont end up hitting the long ball.

Where's the problem with signing players that you know?

He knows if he will fit the squad and style of play.

And it's a load of ****e that people say Crouch brings about long ball play. I challenge you to find one long ball to Crouch in the last 3 games of Pompey's season.
