Hi guys, I have recently bought my first house and along with everything else we need a decent AV setup.
After spending hours on AVforums I have decided to buy a Panasonic V10 50 inch plasma and an all in one surround sound sysem (panasonic scbt205) which I have bought today.
The plasma is going to be built into a fake chimney breast which I shall make from 2 x 2 wood and plasterboard. However, before I start ripping fires out etc I need to start planning what wiring I will need and where to wire to. This is where I need your help.
The router is situated in the front room.
I am planning on routing the following cables to the fake chimney breast:
2 x RJ45 (one for TV streaming and one for HTPC (future) )
1 x bannana face plate for surround sound
circa 5 Plug sockets
2 x HDMI leads (one to go upstairs)
Then around the room:
4 x bannana plug sockets for surround speakers
4 x gang RJ45 by router
2 x Spot lights
Is there anything I have missed?
I am thinking for a kit like this for the sound surround:

Cheers
