There should be a hole for it on the phone itself, near the bottom. Just push the string through the whole, the push the stylus itself through the loop in the string, then pull it tight.
Personally I wouldn't bother though, it looks like it'd be annoying dangling off the phone all the time.

take the battery cover off to attach the stylus. If you looked in manual its called 'wrist strap'
Iv just got my n97 yesterday, i really dont know what to think of it, it seems great but its a bit of a let down.
Orange 'unlimited internet' has a 1gb fair usage policy, and they charge you if you go over? how does that work. I would like to dispute that.
Jesus 1gb is £10 on PAYG 3G dongles, I can live with fair usage policys, but 1gb is a joke.
Anyways im concidering cancelling it and taking it back and getting an iPhone.
One thing that bugs me is the mobile internet, things are chopped a bit too much for my liking, im finding facebook mobile a real nuisance on it. Is there any way to get facebook chat on it? I dont really get why its loading the standard facebook mobile, I would definately rather look at a zoomed out normal facebook, its not like the phone isnt capable?

fairly certain i saw on a review that there is a way to load the normal version of any site, you just have to change something in the options. is there anything there?
Probably not what you want to hear, but I'm 95% sure that it's actually 500mb on Orange :/

Good review in them links, the Symbian thing i can probably live with coming from an N73 and a N95. I had a play with one in a shop and thought it was quite good, disappointed with it not supporting many video codecs though. Hope that gets sorted soon, what the flash player like performance wise etc? That was one of my main gripes with my N95, i couln/td go on flash sites or play flash movies.
Being Flash Lite, I've found it pretty useless and had to resort to using the Skyfire browser for full on Flash usage
[edit] Just a note about the Skyfire browser, this itself doesn't support flash, all it does is what seems like a remote viewing solution, where Skyfire's server will load up the page and send you a stream of whatever is on the page, regardless of format, allowing you to view flash or other video.

I have come from a N70, N73 and N95 so I love the N97. People complain that it is quite slow and unresponsive, but I was so used to the N95 being slow that this phone feels faster to me.
An updated SDK for the N97 was only released earlier this week, so expect lots of new applications coming out soon. CorePlayer and Divx Mobile are both working on players for the S60v5 as far as I know, so we could see releases soon that support multiple codecs

Just swapped my phone in phones4u as the old one locked up, they were quite good about it, a quick question, mine is now updated etc but the old one was easy to setup hotmail account, this new one keeps timing out - any ideas on how to set up the new email (without nokia messaging).
Can't say I've noticed it being slow tbh, not slower than my k750i...
Anyways a software update is out that boosts speed a lot apparently, I can't grab it yet though as I have a Vodafone branded phone and they get updates about 3 months later unless I flash the firmware/brand code. But many people have bricked their phones this way I can't say I want to risk it for the sake of having an update sooner.
So far I haven't done much on it yet, installed garmin mobile XT on it with 2010 maps and it seems to work okay, though it takes a while until it gets a gps signal...
Also put 12gb of music on and and the keyboard is superb for finding music when you have a lot, the only problem is it's case sensitive so I have some artists 3x in the list because the caps are used differently

Was impressed it could extract/open .zip files without a 3rd party app and it opened .doc office files too.

Managed to sort out my email issue, seems you have to now manually set the security to the following:
Security - SSL/TLS
Port - Default
All works now
Can someone tell me what the latest firmware is, mine came with:

but it says Latest update - not updated

Can one of you guys with the phone clear something up for me. When scrolling through menus, like for example the main menu, do you have to use the scroll bar on the right or can you scroll by grabbing anywhere on the screen?
