It would be good to run it, the problem is getting enough good cars in general, not just the one or two. I count 9 or 10 (including myself) that have said in this thread that they will run. To keep the £35 running price we need to have 20+ cars, unless you fancy everyone paying £60.

I organised the very first RR day, back then it had novelty value and we all got to see each others cars in the flesh.

Shame but as said - there's not enough exciting machinery around atm so skipping to 2010 seems like the right idea.

We have had a lot of 'normal' meets this year which means that the RR is pretty much just for the RR really rather than a meet, although it does combine North + South which is always good, hence thinking maybe just having a 'normal' meet instead of an RR this Autumn.

I'd be interested in coming. Picking up the TT the weekend and I would be interested in seeing if the quoted 260bhp from a remap is realistic. It would have to be a weekend though.

I've fitted a new filter to my VR-4, and hopefully by then I'll have a better boost controller, so I may well run that.

Else, I'll bring the missus's Galant estate and see how good/bad that is for a 160k mile engine!
