thats how it is on the G1 anyway

Is there a way to add on the 500mb traffic to any of the contracts currently not offering it?

Seems that the only way I can get 500mb traffic thrown in is if you go up to £35 which is £10 more than I want to be paying (and includes more minutes than I want) :/

From what I've read it's only the White model that's Teflon.

I read on the t-mobile twitter that it is teflon. Not overly bothered tbh, prefer the black looks

well according to engadgetwho reviewed the black model plus other websites only the white is teflon.

int you can get the 500mb added on for £5/month if you take it at the start of the new contract/upgrade, otherwise its £7.50/month if you decide to add it on later on down the line. that's what I was told when I upgrade to the touch hd end of december, they didn't throw in the 500mb for free like many of the other people on here where getting as I'm not an important enough customer(i.e. I don't spend enough) would have saved me £72 over the 18month contract

What's the deal with teflon anyway? I mean, what are the benefits of it?

I'm looking forward to getting my Hero tomorrow; hopefully it will be delivered before I leave for work!

Now posting from the hero. I transferred from my Sony Ericsson via Google sync. I have got this sim unlocked so I can use my o2 sim (yes it was a work mobile, was being the word.) I am loving this phone. The keyboard takes a bit of getting used to, but its really easy to type on after a while.

I do quite like the Hero, and it's UI is quality, but having had one for a few days, it's no iPhone.

However, the only reason I got one was because of the cost saving over the iPhone, and for the price I'm paying it's definatly worth it.

In what way do you find the iPhone superior, just out of interest? I wouldn't mind an iPhone I just hate the way it's hard to customise it and make it your own (Themes, widgets etc)

A couple of questions for Hero owners while I eagerly await mine:
1) How accurate is the Hero at linking your phone contacts with their profiles on Facebook? If it finds one of your contacts Facebook profiles does it take their display picture and use it for their contact picture?
2) Can you check to see if the music play can play AAC VBR files?

The iPhone seems to have better apps and games IMO. The touch technology is better and more accurate. In terms of,d2d use I can't fault the hero... i'd prefer an iPhone though.

Bear in mind that the touch technology can be improved through software updates (due soon) and that the equivalent apps for the hero are only in their infancy.
