I'm afraid I'm adding my vote to iTunes, I only just started using it since I got my iPhone.

Before that I used Winamp for years.

iTunes, for my sins.

iPhone user, not found anything remotely as good to sync with, Sharepod comes close but...ease of use really.

Amarok 1.4 == pure win (2.x still sucks a bit at the moment, but I'm sure it will get better), although saying that - amarok doesn't run on my office laptop, so I use Winamp there.

Not a fan of iTunes at all (it's a huge, bloated hog of a player), but unfortunately, I need it for my phone :(

foobar

Does Foobar 2000 work with the logitech G15 'global keys'?

Yes and the LCD screen.

Winamp for me

iTunes. I don't understand the problem with it really. It makes ripping/organising as simple as can be and it syncs straight to my iPod. Any reasons why Winamp is better?

Because iTunes insists on installing quicktime and everytime there's a new version of Safari or Bonjour it nags you to install.

I use Winamp now.

I used to be an iTunes user until it deleted 2/3 of my music collection one day for no reason at all, i forgave it, and low and behold it did it again a few months later just after i'd finished re-recording it all. I hope iTune's creators meet a horrible end. :(

Although now I use Squeezebox to play my music before I got it I used foobar2000; having tried quite a few different ones nothing really matched it (foobar2000) when everything was considered...

winamp and spotify

didn't get on with foobar far to difficult to make it look good and work. Where Itunes works out the box and looks very good an simple to use.

Before that used Itunes for a long time, until it decided to lose my ratings and lists one to many times.

Winamp all the way for music. I use WMP for videos on Windows 7 though as it is actually good and actually works.

I use Songbird. It has a feature that downloads album art for my entire library, lyrics plugins, and a rather nifty feature that goes through all my music and tells me if the artist is playing in my city in the near future.
