Ok basically my grandad was taken in to hospital this morning he felt dizzy etc as if he was going to faint, and looked in a really bad way, so we called 999 and a medic car came, found his blood pressure and heart rate to be lowm not sure about the blood pressure, and gave him 1mg of some stuff in to his vein to boost his heart rate. The medic called for an ambulance who took him away and said he will be in hospital for a few days.
Now I think/hope to god he's going to be ok, but the paramedics werent sure why his heart rate dropped after half of the 1mg (dont know what the messurement is called) of "heart booster medicine" kept his heart up for a while, and then dropped down a few minutes later, meaning they had to give him the other half (the max their allowed to use).
I've been left at home to look after the pets/house and cant help but worry as i cannot contact anyone as they are on the hospital ward.
Is there any professionals here perhaps who can put my mind at ease and maybe explain what could have happened? He takes tablets for a high blood pressure.
Thanks a lot
